First of all i want to say hello to everyone in the forum, i have been lurking around for about a month now and decided to register. Ok so i bought my first banshee it's an 03 with fmf fatties and silencers and k&n filter with no lid. This thing absolutely rips but at 1st gear when you take off it's feels like at first it doesn't grab on and about halfway thru the gear it just throws you back with the power it gets, my jetting seems right and I just want to know if it's normal (powerband kicking in?) or do I need to adjust something? It really runs strong all the way thru after that, the power on these things is impressive!

Yea gotta love that power band, that sounds about right . There are mods to help get it a little more responsive; like Noss head and timing plate, ect...ect... just working the bugs out. I gotta say mine is pretty impressive to me now with the response of it compared to how it was when I got it. Oh yea , Welcome!

Ok thanks and now I'm relieved thought I had a problem somewhere, so I think I am going to buy a noss head and see how that works out for me.

are you sure that the ties aren't just spinning and then catch and that's what you feel :whistling: ??? I did that with my cheetah when I first got it built....I thought something was wrong until my wife said the rear tires were just spinning....all the way thru 4th gear on hard packed dirt.

Welcome to the HQ....and the addiction
