Intake adaptor fitment problem

Hi,

I recently purchased this intake adaptor for my kn filter, because the stock made from cut sceleton of the stock filter is starting to break:

But I have problems while installing it, should I drill two holes to the airbox and put there the screws through the airbox and adaptor?

And It doesn'tfit perfectly, so I'am afraid of air leaks, because It's just one piece of plastics, no foam seal like the stock one...

How to install it properly?

Thank you

there should be a rubber o ring on the side that seats against the airbox , even with the rubber ring, i put a thick bead of silicone all around it so make damn sure it was airtight, then the k&n should hose clamp over the top nice and snug

and yes you have to drill holes and bolt it in too for a secure fit
