difference between powercore and turbinecore

just wondering what the difference is in these silencers

Power Core 2 is a standard silencer

Turbine Core 2 is a Spark Arrested Silencer.

hey i was on the www.fmf.com site today and i was lookin up the same thing but it had no info on the differences in silencers but i ass-u-me it a matter in sound difference (decibels ) :shrug: i think

Dude, you just joined 2 months ago. You ain't no seasoned vet. Why you bashing the man's question? He's trying to learn something. Nobody did that to you when you first came to BHQ 2 months ago.

 

Spark arrestors just make sure no spark exits the pipe. Mainly for riding in areas that require it by law. Or if you ride in areas that I ride, where it's next door to a natural gas plant.

Nope just a spark arrested silencer.

 

They both sound the same. I had FMF SST's with Power Core 2 silencers on my shee when I got it. I have to have a Spark Arrestor where I ride so I bought a pair of Turbine Core 2's. Didnt sound any different, and no power loss was noticed. If you have to have a spark arrested silencer the Turbine Core 2's are a pretty good silencer.
