I have the Vforce II and was cleaning them and inspection the reeds. I noticed that the small metal plate the holds the outside reeds in place has HIGHon one side and LOW on the other. Which side am I supposed to have them on?? HIGH for the up side and LOW for the side facing down? Whats the difference??

you want them so you can read the high on both sides. It sets the tension of the reeds. If you put them on low they wont last near as long. Look at how that bar is bent.

It changes how easily they opean up. You will get better throttle responce if you put them on low. Look how it holds the reeds. When it is on high it pinches it farther down the pedal making it stiffer. When you put it on low it holds it farther back up the reed.

If you put them on low you wont get near the life out of them because they will be opeaing up farther and faster wich will shorten the pedal life.

wow... I dig when I learn something about a part I thought I knew... anyone have an age or life span on theirs set on low???

If it was over a year, I would go with it! I would like a snappier bottom... dont really get to the top of the rmp range when shooting dune to dune...

I have V2's set on high, they have been like that for 3 years now. My dad has a LT500 w/ V2's set on low and he has to put new reeds every year. Some time more often if he rides alot.
