278 Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Got the motor done and went to put the flywheel on and it goes too far in, it touches the mounting screw for the stator, I dont remember taking a spacer/washer off but is there suppose to be one behind the flywheel? Quote
regalrocket Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 There is no spacer, it is taper fit to the shaft. If it hits the stator, I would look real hard to see if that stator is indeed on its register and screwed down properly. There is really no way for the flywheel assembly to go on too far. Quote
locogato11283 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 did you put the woodruff key in there? Quote
Wildcardracing Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Your stator plate must not be seated properly in the case  Quote
