You'll either need a spacer plate or domes cut for the 4mil crank. Also, I would strongly recommend porting although its not "needed". But to get the most out of it.. your gonna need it. Quote
1996dragshee Posted November 9, 2008 Report Posted November 9, 2008 No case work needed with a 4mil crank.Ported cylinders to match the stroke is always a plus. Bigger carbs depending what you run now and what kind of port work is done and as fouledout stated..cut domes or a plate Quote

Oh it's going to be a night and day difference alright,,,trust me... I went from a 2nd over size bore motor to a 421cc 4mi long rod and about shit myself with the power difference...My arms and forearms still get tired after a couple drag races from trying to hold on... burleybanshee Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 Plan on upgrading your clutch and getting a extended swing arm, carbs, intake, reeds, K&n pods, timing plate, pipes depending on your port job. Not just crank and porting with a cool head. You are going to spend some money, but its worth it. Jeff is a great guy and he will give up straight up advise and suggestions on what you need and should have. Quote
