You were? My bad.. I didn't see anything in your entire post that signified you were joking.

I have just seen alot of people lately saying stuff that isn't accurate.. I understand that SOME feel that because the plastics will get scratched up again they shouldn't do what they can to keep them nice or restore them.. However if you hold that mindset then why change the oil on a car if its just gonna need it again lol< (joke)

But seriously my bike gets beat up and will again and again, but I still try to keep it nice or repair it..

RIPPEN

At least someone understands where I'm coming from.

Obviously my bikes going to get beat up just from riding it, no matter where it is or what terrain it's on, I'm always going to be causing wear and tear. (Even internally on the motor.)

But those other 329847238943 hours a week (yeah, I made up the number) I'm not riding, I'd like my bike to shine at least, and have people think it looks damn good for a trail bike.

I'm not trying to win car shows or anything, I just want my bike to stay in good shape...

I'm going to look for this plastic renew this weekend, and talk to the guy at our local shop and see what he says.

I'll let you guys know, and get you some before and after pics if I pic up and product (probably be Sat or Sun.)

Thank you sirs.

take them to a detailer and have them buff them up. it wont get rid of the thick scratches but the shine will be there for a few weeks. i took a set of white plastics in and they went in brown-staind and i got them back looking new as far as color and shine would go.

I like to spray my bikes down with pledge furniture polish before i go out riding, it keeps the shine and keeps the plastics looking new,it works really well.Pledge brand seems to work the best.A friend of mine at a body shop told me about this and it works great, he said that they even do it to there show cars. This also seems to work better that armorall, but dont do your seat

never thought of pledge. yeah no matter how tempting it may be dont get armor all or pledge on your seat. its good to hear that plastic renewal stuff works. all the other reviews ive heard says it sucks and looks like crap when you get it wet. i guess you get out of it how much effort you put into it
