Bansh-eman Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 Alky is another type of fuel. It is actually called Methanol. It produces more power then gasoline, however at a cost. You will burn a significantly larger amount of alky then gas. Unless you are going to be drag racing there is no need to change. Do a little searching on the web about methanol so you can understand what it is. Quote

87sheerips Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 Im a fan of running alky. I have been all year with no issues. drags, dunes, trails its great. It is more forgiving in the jetting department cuase you can run them rich as hell and it still runs great. You use a ton more fuel, so that sucks for trail riding. You also have to purge your system with regular gas if you let it set for more than a couple days. Ohh yea, and it smells fantastic!! Quote
