firebanshee Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 i was going to post asking why cut, but it sounds like just for looks. is this true, or does someone have a functional reason? The wind blows really hard sometime on the oregon coast out in the dunes and i think that having cut front fenders really does help when you are cresting the top of a dune.On one side on the dune there is no wind then when you carry your front tires over the top of the dune the wind is blowing really hard and tries to blow you over backwards, cut fenders help this problem.Just my 2 cents. I think it gives it a little character. Quote
