2001Stroker Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 I absolutely love my iRazr's. Very aggressive tread. They self-clean great in the soft dirt or even mud. And they're 6-ply. They take a friggin beating on rocks. Strong, meaty sidewall. And man do they throw some roost. Yeah, they're a little bit heavier, but you can't beat the control and response you get with these tires. I've seen people on here say that they wear down fast. Well, I've had mine for about 6 months, and ride very aggressively and very often. The places that I ride range from pebble/dirt mix to packed sand. They still have about 90% tread. I still have my Holeshots in the garage. If I ever put them back on the bike, it's to melt them. They're junk compared to the iRazr. Quote
desertdeweller Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 I like the bandits also they are a very tuff long lasting tire. I would eat holeshots in 2 desert races, the bandits have about 2 years on them now. They are stiff enough you could probably ride them flat but I have never punctured one yet to find out. Like mentioned earlier they are pricey and heavy but they last a long time. Quote
05.Banshee.SE Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 they are better than razrs thats for sure. razr have always been worthless in soft shit. they like to bury to easily. I run Razr 2s and I have no problem in the sandy beaches of Florida. I've never buried them unless I meant to (messing around and spraying massive amounts of sand on a TRX450R.) I ride mostly beach sand, since it's FL, and I have had no problems. I have great traction, and actually love the fact that I can roost it whenever I want. If you are serious about sand, this tire isn't for you though. This is a great sandy trail, hard pack, loose terrain, rocks, combo tire. NOT DUNE TYPE RIDING. (It can dune, but not as well as a paddle can) It does great in the general woods area. And the 6 ply is TOUGH!!! The sidewall is amazing. Quote
Cannon Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 why not some kenda knarlys?? Don't run kenda knarlys. I wouldn't want to race somebody using them. Don't listen to Loco !! Quote
