LiftdT4R Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 Hey, what's up? I was wondering what everyone was running for SS front lines. I definately want the ones that have a single cable, down to a splitter, not the one where you have to stack the fittings at the front res. I have a set now, that I bought used from a member on here, and they recently started leaking at the T connector, not sure whats wrong with it, but they looked pretty dingy when I picked them up anyway. Anyway, just wondering what you guys were all using. Lemme know!! Quote
desertdeweller Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 do you have an fittings on the ones you are running? They don`t usually have problems with those fittings. Mine are from atv racing they came with the a arms that I purchased from them. they have a clear protective liner over the steel braid to keep it from getting torn up,a lot of a companies sell them. Mine are leaking out of the threads in the t-fitting. I've never had a lot of luck trying to seal up brake line fittings with any kind of loctite or tape. No matter what I use the fluid ends up eating through it and leaking again. For the $60 a new, hoepfully better, set would cost, Id rather do that and never have to worry about it. If anyone has any ideas for sealing the threads though, lemme know. Quote
rtcc Posted October 13, 2008 Report Posted October 13, 2008 good ol rockymountain has a few. They sell the galfer stuff which is nice or they have their own tusk stuff. I dont run either, I am waiting to get the double line from the master cylinder ones, I think the t fitting will always be weak link in the system. Quote
