 Thats a good lookin shee for a poor boy.

The best you can do buy her clean her after every ride. miticulasly (im not the best speller) On maintanence it depends on you and how much time you want to spend before and after every ride. ie The spark plugs get checked after every ride the filters get cleaned every ride. compression check just to make sure its good. the big things are for example a few days at the sand you might want to take a-arms off shocks ect. and get all the sand out of the joints and re grease everything real good. It does make them last a lot longer, plus bolts tend to get loose after a lot of riding so you will be covering two birds with one stone.

just some thoughts for ya.

I like simple green. I mix it just a little stronger then reccomended and spray everything with it. Then power wash anything that is metal.

I have a motor that shakes the shit outta my bike, so whenever I put my bike back together I used nylon nuts where I could along with blue thread lock.

Hope that helps!

 LOL thanks. but i dont have a manual  or a compression tester. but thanks for all the ideas everybody. i just dont want to tear her up because i didnt do smtn to prevent it. and i likek simple green to  but what do you do about pressure washing it when the filters are stickin out right there? cause i do like my bike to be spotless. but i dont like to be scared to get it dirty.

after you ride it in sand, or if its dusty clean the air filter(s). Grease up the nipples...lol. keep your chain lubed and adjusted. Lube the clutch cable, Change the gear oil often. i dont know if you ride in mud but if you do spray out the radiator....when you wash it if you have pods, put a plastic bag over them and put a zip tie by where the clamp is. That helps keep the water off them. Be carefull not to spray directly down your exhaust outlet..etc. Just some basic things i do after every ride. Once in a while i will spin my a-arm bolts a little bit to. Ive had them get rusted inside the bushing and there a bitch to get out. The best maintance thing you can do for it is get rid of those plastics lol. Your bike is fuckin sick besides for the plastic.....throw on some stockers or fullbores and that thing would be dope

Inspect all fuel lines and fittings for wetness.

Make sure air filter is clean.

Lube clutch and throttle cables.

Inspect spark plug clean and gap if necessary.

Clean and lube chain.

Check your brake pads and lines.

That's what I normally check you have a great looking the Banshee the best shape for it to be in is without raptor plastic on it haha j/k.

FOR LOOKS:

Spray whatever you can with WD40 (motor, rims, etc.) it will keep sand from sticking to it.

I use FW1 wash/wax...it sprays out of a can like spray paint and it wipes off.

It works good, but I'm probably going to look into something a bit better though for when I really want it to shine...I heard Mothers products are #1. (But expensive.)

MAINTENANCE:

Always keep fluids up (and fresh.)

High RPMs = Check all bolts, screws, etc. for tightness

Heat = Motor Killer NEVER overheat your Banshee...you will regret it.

Inspect plugs (!!!!)

Lube all cables (Specifically throttle, especially w/o TORS)

Chain lubed & tightness

WASH IT. Always have sand and mud all over your bike will give you major problems.

I was just being general, and overall...your bike looks insane already (LESS THOSE SUCKY PLASTICS!!!! ), you must know this stuff and more!!!!

I always hit the car wash on the way home, then spend some time polishing. I change my gear oil every 1 or 2 trips (might be wasteful in some opinions, but I do it anyway). If you ride in sand never lube your throttle or clutch cable. Lube causes sand to stick!!! Just buy an extra clutch cable or 2 and carry them with you. Always make sure your radiator is topped off. Grease all zerts on suspension every trip. I like to do it just before the car wash so I can blow off the extra grease that squeezes out.

If you are going to ride in sand, get rid of those pods now and get an air box back on that bike. I use UM racings air box. I burned through quite a few sets of pistons with exposed air filters in the sand. I ran even ran 2 sets of panty hose and outerwears. I then made a half box to shield it from sand getting thrown at it. I finally got smart and went back to an air box. The stocker won't fit my bike, but the UM racing box is very customizable when it comes to mounting.
