my suggestion is for you to try to run both the pods and air box and then you will probably figure it out and go hmm guess they go there and i remove this and hmm looks like a lot of air can come thru these filters now.

no box,they clamp right on the carbs.make sure you remove the part on the frame that used to hold the box.It will rub on the pods.When you get them on you should see what I'm talking about.

Mine have been on my bike a while now, clamped onto the carbs w/o any box.

 

But then i was browsing around on here, and saw "Pods - airbox lid removed" in a kids mods.

 

I thought..."Obviously the airbox lid is removed if there is no airbox. Are people running these any differently? How?"

 

I wasn't asking how to install them.

sounds like how to install them to me.

 

like other guy said clamp to carb, position them to where they dont rub on anything. avoid large amt of water.

word.but how?? that thing is annoying eveyone i no that has pods,do i have 2 cut it off.or does it unscrew off??

Looks like a Sawzall should do it.

 

 

And no, it wasn't asking how to install them. I can see how you thought that, but I should have explained it more.
