HotRob Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 So I had this pining noise coming from the right side, next to the rear brake lever?I opened up the water impellar and found that it was making the noise, so my Q is how can I stop that noise, and does the noise mean it is broken, since my shee gets really hot? Any thoughs on this would be great, thanx Quote

Any thoughs on this would be great, thanx Sounds like it's time for a bilit impellar. Get a ProDesign, they are the best. It's pretty simple to change them out. Your bearing could be bad too. I would change it and the seal all at once to be on the safe side. Quote
locogato11283 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 prolly best to get new bearings and seals for it too. call FAST. jeff can set you up with everything you need. 785-364-5325 Quote
RollinRhino Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Here is schematic for your waterpump. Yes, change the bearing as their is not a good reason to not do it. More than likely the bearing/seal is next to shot. Official Banshee Water Pump Schematic Quote
Onesickcrewcab Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Curious as to how you opened it up and found out it was making the noise? If you spin it by hand and it makes noise. You for sure need a new bearing at least. Might as well throw a billet impeller in there while your at it. Quote
