mofoka Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 I want to improve the bottom end. I've seen stock replacement boysens for 50 bucks or 90 for dual stage, VF3's for 200, and used ported cages with carbon reeds for random prices. First off what will give the best bottom end response? Seccond how much should I spend? Is it going to make any difference? (I have a stock engine with FMF Fatty's and power core 2's and a stockish box) Quote
banshee21 Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 I just got a set of these and they made a pretty big difference on bottom end power. Well worth the $150 http://www.magicracing.com/SRP-Ram-Air-Ree...p_727-1944.html Quote

mofoka Posted September 10, 2008 Author Report Posted September 10, 2008 CArbon tech low tension reeds on stock cages. who sells carbon techs? Quote
mofoka Posted September 10, 2008 Author Report Posted September 10, 2008 Carbon tech? ouch... that obvious eh... Any better than boysen stock carbon replacements? Would 2 stage reeds be any good? Are they relyable? Quote
Snopczynski Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 I Quit using boyseen reeds a long time ago. We have done dyno testing with the carbon techs and had good results. The ride tests seem to show good results also. Quote
