I want IMS SOOOOOOOOOO bad.... but I can't see paying that big price. I have been looking for a used set for eions now...

i have seen them in the for sale section for like 150.. just gotta keep an eye out.. but im tellin you what.. these things are worth every penny of 300 bucks once you start riding on them.. you feel like you got a fuckin platform under your feet. wont wear your feet out as quick either.

If your riding trails, keep the stockers and grind 'em down so you have some grip. I welded up a spare set of stockers to make double IMS like pegs. I have the nets in front of the pegs, makes it too hard to shift, and I can't ride without heel guards. I get too muddy, and have slipped one too many times.

If they still made IMS heel guards Id get a set of IMS pegs in a second though.

Oh, I know they are worth it. I am just waiting for a good deal, as you know. I ride with just the pegs like you. I cut as much weight as possible. I don't have a problem with my feet coming off the stockers, let alone those bad boys. I know they are definately worth it... but everytime I have the money, well, you can tell the rest of the story.... something else comes up.

I want them so bad. My next investment hands down without a doubt.

P.S. Thanks for the heads up Tyler... I appreciate it. You're a good guy

Thanks - the IMS set is sweet, and i know they are costly....Moose makes a nice set too for $129.

I might try the stock double-up method, can't hurt.

Thanks for the input and pics.

I threw my stockers in the horizontal mill and cut new grooves in them. Cost 0$ You could grind them to go the low tech way. Dont even think about sitting on my bike with bare feet. LOL Double wide would be nice though.
