I just recently did a leakdown test on my shee and found it hard to find a QUALITY leakdown test kit. So i made up my own and thought i would offer to make up some more kits if anyone has a interest. I use a lathe at work to spin up some solid aluminum plugs for the intakes, both are tapped and will include, a quality 0-15 psi quage that i order directly through my work and the other plug will be tapped and include a air valve to hook up to your air pump. For the exhaust i spin up some rubber, drill a hole through it and use a stainless steel bolt with washers to expand the rubber. It works great, the plugs dont blow out under pressure like alot of the other ones. I can make any size of the aluminum plugs you might need, say if you run larger than stock intakes. Pm me if you would like me to make you a kit or if you have any further questions, thanks

You can make these for like 20 bux with quality enough stuff to work. Not tryin to hurt "sales" but $55 is fuckin high

your talking about making a kit out of all rubber plugs and a china made qauge arnt you? Ok first off not to be a dick but i also tried using those and they didnt work for shit (for me), they kept blowing out. Go down and buy a solid piece of aluminum, bring it to a machine shop to have it spun to size, drilled, and tapped and let me know how much that will run you buddy. Now add $19 for a GOOD 0-15psi quage and air valve, then grab some rubber and some stainless bolts. In my opinion $55 is a damn good deal for a kit that will last you forever unlike those crappy kits you use. Im MAYBE making $15 at the most, Now add in the time it takes me to make them....and its not a fair price? i think its damn fair. Use what you want to but dont talk shit about the things i use....so far 8 people on here think its a pretty fair price. thanks guys

If you can sell them for 55 bucks to the people who want them, more power to you. Beats having to run to the hardware store to find what you need. Not everyone on here is mechanically inclined. I on the other hand bought some rubber freeze plugs from autozone to plug up the exhaust for 4 dollars. A 0-30 PSI guage for 7 dollars, PVC fittings and valve stem for approx 10 dollars. A freeze plug is not going to shoot out under 6 PSI of pressure. I would love to see a picture of your kit though. Send them to [email protected] and I will post them up for you.
