F.BEJARANO Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 I got my jugs ported by kevin and got it put together about 6 months ago and it fired up then but i didnt have any exhaust at the time. Just got my t-5s in and put them on this morning but it didnt want to fire up. what could be the problem. its been sitting for 6mo. Quote

If you didn't lean out your cylinder tremendously by starting it with no exhaust, I would think you have a dirty or plugged up pilot jet/circuit. Gas turned on? Just remember, you need air, fuel, and spark to make it run. As long as you have those 3 things it will run, it may run crappy, but it'll fire off. Quote

Onesickcrewcab Posted August 28, 2008 Report Posted August 28, 2008 Did the bike sit with Gas in the bowls? If so your probably going to need to take off your carbs and clean them out with some carb cleaner. Take your plugs out and make sure they look good and replace if needed. Hope this helps you out. By the way I wouldnt start your bike without pipes installed. Quote
