I am getting a +4 swingarm and was wondering what length of chain I will need for it. I will be running my stock gears on it or show I replace them with some new ones? Any brand better than the other for chains and sprockets? Where is the best place to order this for the price and speedy delivery? Let me ask you this, how does everyone who has a +4 swingarm enjoy them compared to a stock swingarm? I mostly do my riding at the dunes and some on the trails.

I am replacing my stock axle to a round house carrier swingarm. My problem is that I don't know what the proper way is to tighten the two axle nuts on it. I don't have the axle nut wrenches and was wondering how everyone else tightens theirs? I don't want to make them too loose or too tight. Any help would be appreciated. I love this website!!! Give Dan @ Patriot Racing a call/email. He is making his own clutch baskets and they look killer. He says that they are holding up better than Barnetts. I think he said that they are going for around $175 for them.

I had my head milled .030 a couple years ago. I run mostly 93 octane w/o any problems. I have a stock 2000 that is pushing 150 psi on each side at 300 ft asl. If I have the extra money, I will run 50/50 mix and it seems to run a little better. The only problem I have had so far is that I blew a head gasket last weekend riding, but nothing else so far. I feel that this is a good mod to do at a low cost. Make sure that you have your squish band recut when they shave your head.

How old is the clutch basket? Mine is starting to show some wear on it. Not sure if it will last the spring/summer. "with gear" what do you mean by that? Do you have any pics of this? If so, please send to [email protected] Thanks...

I am running ported reed cages with TDR "yellow" reeds and have had great luck with them. They are definitely a big improvement over stock and I can keep up with the guys who are running the v-force reeds. The nice thing with the ported reed cages is that they are alot cheaper than spending $200+ plus on v-force reeds. Just my 2cents...

I like running 4psi in the front and 3psi in the back. Alot depends on what kind of tires. The harder the tire, the less air pressure you want to run for traction.
