I got the chain breaker on it's way. I think that I will try running my stock chain and sprockets and take a couple of links from my other stock chain and see how it runs. I think that I will eventually buy a chain/sprocket kit from Magicracing. They seem to be the only ones that have a decent complete kit for a good price. Does anyone know of any other places besides magicracing and rocky mnt atv?

I think that I may go with magicracing's kit and see what happens. Should I go with the O-ring or X-ring chain for the sand?

That's what I am thinking that it may be the TORs, but it only happens when you barely touch the throttle or when it is in 1st gear going down the road (5mph) to the dunes. I know when I had the TORS on my banshee is would just stall, but not die, like it does now. I will give it a shot and find out if that is the problem.

I was looking at magicracing.com and they have package kits with sprockets and chains. The one I was looking at was the Pro kit and it had JT sprockets and EK520SRXG Quadra X-Ring chain for $79.95. Is that a good price for this and will they hold up in the sand?

We were riding this weekend at the dunes and my buddy's wife's banshee and my son's blaster were having a throttle problem. Not sure why both of them were doing it, but here is what they were doing. After starting them up and letting them get warm, when you slightly pushed on the throttle they would all of a sudden die. That is when you just barely pushed on the throttle. Then when we were riding out to the dunes in 1st gear, both quads would hesitate and jerk going down the road and they would end up having to run them in 2nd and give them more gas. What is causing this problem. Both of them still have the TORS on them and was wondering if this could possibly be the problem. Baffled, what should I do?

I am putting on a new chrome swingarm and want to use my stock axle for now until I can get more $ for a nice aftermarket axle. What has everyone used to get their axles looking new again when we first bought them?

I am looking at replacing my stock sprockets and chains on my banshee. I am wondering what everyone likes to run on their quads for riding on the sand. Is there better ones to run and not to run? Where is the best place to buy them? Also, what length of chain do I need to run a +4 swingarm with stock gearing? I am new in this area and could use some advice before spending the money on this.

How old are they and what size of they? Do they come with outerwears? Please send pics to taschoeberl@msn.com

How much for the polished clutch side case? Any pics yet of it?

Wouldn't that be nice to be sponsored and save some money. With all the money we put into our quads, we really have to love this sport.

My wife is still alive today because of her helmet. She decided to test out the back side of a dune and rolled my banshee over herself. She forgot to let go of it and rode it out. She ended up with a concussion, cracked rib, bruised shoulder and butt. You should have seen her helmet, it was all scratched up along the face. Funny thing is that this was her first time with this helmet and I will be and always have been in helmets. I see all these kids and adults without helmets and riding with ball caps and sunglasses thinking that they are "COOL". They won't be so cool after having a good spill and smashing their noggin' and sitting in a hospital with brain damage. Sorry I started to rant and rave. I just get upset knowing that these people invest all this money in their quads, but not themselves.

I would go for the decals! They look good on it. I put a FX Effects decal kit on mine and it looks like a totally different quad. I get more looks on it than any of my buddies Banshees.

How much are they asking for them?

Does anyone know where I can get some of these footpegs at a good price?

My parents are Al and Doris Schoeberl. My dad is retired and use to work for Schwan's Ice Cream. They live in the NE part of town. I haven't been there for a couple of years, but will probably be there next Christmas. They like coming out to Washington (state) to visit. I grew up in Nebraska and have been all over the world in the Army.

Kind of sounds like a ball bearing carrier. He said that it has the tube in it. If I have to get replacement parts for it, where can I go to get them and are they expensive? I am buying it from a friend. Here is a picture of part of the housing. Not sure if this helps any. If not I can see if he will send me another picture of it.

I will be running v-force reeds w/stock boots. What is the Boss Intake and how does it work? For some reason I get a pool company when I pull up the website? Are you sure on it? Where do you live in St Joeseph? My parents live there now. I think that they have been there for about 3-4 years now. I haven't been down there for a couple years. I have been over Iraq for the past year and now getting back into riding again. The motor is getting rebuilt at the end of Feb and looking forward to the new power.

I remember someone saying that if you get the Keihin's that you have to get reed spacers to help clear the clutch arm. Is that right? Also, can I still run my airbox with them or do I have to get pods for them?

What type of chain breaker do I need to get then? Do I need to get a chain press also for the master link?

I am not sure? How can you tell? Also, what is the difference between them?

I am getting my motor rebuilt at Patriot Racing and Dan is suggesting that I run Keihin 28mm PWK carbs on my setup. Can anyone tell me their experiences with these carbs and where I can get a setup pretty cheap? How much am I looking at spending on a set of them and are they worth the money? Thanks...
