hi. i REALLY need a top end kit for my banshee. its's at .20 over now and i didn't blow her up
or anything, that happened the first time, its just really low compression, hard to start and its been
years. i have 2 questions.
1. my cylinders and engine are completely stock, except for pipes and rad valves.
i bored it out .20 a few years ago, and that's about it on the engine. i want to go with
Vito's pistons that i heard so much about, but i dont know which type would be good for me?
he has different kinds on his site. i used Wiseco my 1st time i blew it up, but i get all these
different people saying Wiseco makes Vito's, and on and on. i really would just like the proper
pistons for my application. i know Vitos makes "forged" and other kinds, but i dont know
what the differences are in materials. im not too smart in this area. i dont race my bike.
just trails and roads and open fields like that. what would u guys get from Vito's ?
2. im not living at home right now, been working and staying quite far from
home thesedays. my question is, i would like to have them already at home before i arrive
so i can start working on it right away. so i want to order them now and when i get back home,
they are already there. i didn't even look at the cylinders yet or take the old set out,
'coz my brother starts it up for me once a week. but i know that i still need a kit.
since i didnt blow these pistions up, would it be ok to order new ones without having looked inside the cylinders? would i be taking a chance in case my cylinders would need repair? or since it starts
and runs fine does that mean the cylinders are ok? just clean 'em up ??
thanks for listening to me, sorry 'bout the long posts.
any help would be great. thanks
