2 freinds seriously injured riding
Cotton eyed Joe replied to banshee0044's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I'm thinking she could still be held for negligence if it can be proven she did it on purpose. It reminds me of the stories I've heard where someone is riding on private property, and the land owner pulls a thin rope across the trails to clothsline the people trespassing and ends up cutting their heads off. That is negligence on the land owners part I do believe, since it caused harm to someone on purpose. You can't just harm someone because you don't like what they are doing. Its sad I know.....lol.....I wish it weren't this way -
One more: Give the economy a boost, lower the crime rate, AND help clean up Americas highways in one easy step!! Alot of the south west is barren land. Build more/bigger prisons. Then, stop this free lunch bullshit where someone goes to jail, and they hang out under the AC watching The Price is Right. If they're breathing, they're working. And the cost of their jail stay is exactly what they make cleaning up the road side. You'd make a ton off of the concrete...er...cement....which ever....

LOCOGATO IN 'O4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ideas for your platform: Put an ATV in every garage.... Atv registration fees would go to improving atv recreation areas, not someones pocket. Every state must have an ATV trail infrastructure put in place within the next 2 years. As you stated, street legal ATV's (All Terrain Vehicle....asphalt IS a terrain) Make the Sierra Club illegal some how. Fine them $2 mil for every frivilous law suit they file. Make Piersons Milk Vetch weeds illegal. Classify them as a Class 3 substance. Provide enough money to actually ship Hollywoods precious celebrities to some island near Malaysia when they bitch that "If so and so is elected I'm leaving the United States" Be sure to slam the fucken door as they step out to drive the point home that not that many people actually care what they think. I'll come up with more later.

Some time ago, probably 2 versions of the HQ...when we first got PM's... I got a PM saying "What kind do you have?" I was like WTF? I replied back with "WTF? Did I miss something?" They replied back with "Oh, the tools you were talking about in (insert forum here)." I reply back with " I have some Craftsman tools in a crappy little box, but I really want a Snap On or a Kennedy box with some new Craftsman stuff" They reply back with "What?" I reply back with "You had asked me what kind of tools I have and I replied back with what I have and what I would like" They reply back with "oh lol."

Asking questions is key to learning....ask away!!! An over ride tranny is a modification to your stock transmission that allows you to shift without pulling in the clutch. The drive dogs are ramped and the shift drums are relieved to allow you to shift into the next gear, which causes the countershaft to spin faster, the ramps on the first gear are now going towards each other, they ramp out and the notch in the shift drum allows the fork to slide to the side. If you let off the gas with out pulling in the clutch, the ramps push the gears apart, (since now the pressure is coming from the rear wheels to the engine, instead of the engine to the wheels...to simplify things a bit I hope) but since you haven't selected a gear that has a relieved notch in a shift drum, it will bend your shift fork. A small price to pay for shifts that only take about 1/4 of a second. On the tranny, I'm sure any of the reputable builders can cut them for you. K&T, GrandRiver, etc. Not too sure on the price. I don't have mine done as I'm not into the drag racing yet. I will be eventually, but right now I prefer to dune.

anyone ever get antifreeze blown on there leg?
Cotton eyed Joe replied to nickxc's topic in General Banshee Discussion
HAHA That happens quite often, it mostly ME repeating what someone else has said. 'tsall good!!!!! Great minds and all that. -
I'm with Oilsmoke on this one. The out of frame will basically facillitate getting the exhaust gasses out of there as quickly as possible with less bends, as are common with the in frame pipes. On the bottom end issue.....you can't have it all unfortunately. One thing you can do is mess your gearing. You can gear a little lower, or get a lock up on the clutch, and just give it hell. An over ride tranny would also be wise. You won't have to touch your clutch but twice. Once to launch and once when ever you let off the gas. An 1/8 mile is still 660 feet. Thats still a distance to travel. Get up on the pipe, in the top rpms and you won't have time to worry about bottom end.

You should use something precision like a steel ruler. I have several at the shop, and they are not cheap for some. Others are okay in price but you get what you pay for. I also have a ground granite stone that I can check flatness on as well. hehe..the price on that was a bit more than the steel rulers. A guide pin would be a harnened ground steel pin that basically oreints something into posistion. I do believe the case halfs have some sort of guide pin to get things aligned. -
Either way, I have plenty of space at my shop to warehouse something for a few months.

I'm not one to encourage bad behavior, but that kicks ass!!! And yeah, I'm thinking if you are (ever lol) caught with it you could be charged with theft, even though its a $2.00 sticker. -
geez stan. why dont you aim a little higher. like try and save the world or something. Goals, not miracles. lol..... Besides, I tire easily

If by some miracle a Philly Cheese Steak could make it to NZ from PA, I'll take a dozen of them. I have simple goals in life. 2 of them involve food. I want to eat New England Clam Chowder in New England, instead of out of a can, and I want to eat a real Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Not these pussy little roast beef and swiss things I make here at home.

Thats what I'd think, either that or there was a spec of debris under or on top of the gasket as it was torqued down. You'll see it when you pop the head off thats for sure. If thats the case you can also sand it out yourself if you do it right. -
YES!!! The only set I've ever put together went on my bike, and I'll never do it again that way. Now I can get the parts I need to fabricate single lines out, then T to each from brake. I Finally got it, but it was the biggest bitch ever. That was also my exact problem. Getting the seal needed to maintain pressure.
