I have a full set of skidplates, A-arms, center and swingarm. All are thick, in great shape and at one time they were even polished on the topside. I stopped using them when I converted over to sand drags. Let me know what your willing to pay and we may can come to a deal. I can snap some pics if you need them.

It was a party! It was so crazy up till that point that once I started self medicating, about all I could do is smile! The other people didn't have a chance, I had close to 1000 votes and 2nd place didn't quite have 300! Thanks everyone!!!

All I can say is they looked allot better in person and it was nice having my arms around a 18 and 19yr old and didn't go to jail! It came down to the wire, did the knock down the night before, sprayed the room that morning and had carpet installed around noon. It was a crazy day to say the least! http://www.wcprfm.com/rockeye.htm

Thanks everyone! It would be too cool to end up with that kind of stash in my room. Even though I have built the house with my own two hands, with a wife and two daughters and no telling what the third is going to be, the garage is the only thing that I can say is 100% mine!!! I do appreciate the help! David

Ok, here is the deal, a local rock station is putting on a deal so the worst room gets a ton of goodies! 32 INCH FLAT SCREEN TV A HOME THEATRE SOUND SYSTEM, OFFICIAL BAND PLATINUM PLAQUES AN AUTOGRAPHED GUITAR, A FULL SIZE POOL TABLE So, I entered the room above my garage (which is not even completed yet). Be sure to check the attached pic so you know which one to vote for. So anyhow, you can only vote once a day and whoever gets the most votes wins all the goodies! You can count on tons of parties for anyone that passes through Biloxi! If you could help me out I would appreciate it. Thanks Go here to vote!!!

The only airleak that I have seen is when Phil came down to the dunes. His bike revved to the moon. I'm with Boonman, clean the carbs!

Smith And Wesson 1911 Sw1911
-Turbo- replied to German Shepherd's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I had a 1911 and loved it. When I was in Jacksonville I hit the range all the time, bet I ran 600 rounds through it and never had a issue. Had to get rid of mine though, bad tempers and guns don't mix, was cool though, the cops gave it back! -

When it comes to helmets you can preach all you want but if they don't want them then they won't wear it till its a law. When you in a riding area and throwing in a few guys drinking and the others racing, only safe to have one since it only takes a split second for someone to take you out. Racing side by side without one is plain crazy!

Ohhhh, well that video came from the la dunes and like anywhere else, the thumpers get sucked up on a regular basis!

Was that this weekend at the dunes???

You won't be sorry. I would even be willing to bet that it would make you do better in school so later you can afford to really go off the deep end! Make a deal with your mom so that good grades could end up as mods to your banshee! Always wear a helment and show responsiblity on your bike, if not then that will be the first thing that mom gets rid of! I wish I would have had a banshee when I was 15! Wait, I wish they would have made a banshee when I was 15, lol... Wow do I feel old!

Porting is the way to go and if the cylinders need a bore job then go for it, you won't be sorry. Keep in mind that for all of this to come together you need pipes, re-jetted carbs, shaved head and yes, a trued and welded crank just for your motors sake. Pipes: if you didn't already have aftermarket pipes then there is no way you would have ever found banshee power. I would get cpi in-frames for any type of riding. Carbs: With a motor that has the ability to burn more fuel, you have to get it there. Head: Normally with a port job you will lose some compression, shaving the head brings the compression back up, besides, 135lbs from the factory should have been 150 anyhow (what were they thinking) Crank: Make sure its straight before you dump it in with your new goodies, then weld it so it won't be a problem later. None of these mods are very expensive, most of the money comes from the pipes and porting, everything new should be around $800. Not much considering that it will be much better than a new bike. For porting I would go with someone like Dan Wade @ Patriot. There are not many people that I would vouch for and I'm sure quite a few others could back me up on Dan.

Guys I Need Your Professional Opinon On Pipes
-Turbo- replied to dmljohnson's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
I would go with the CPI's also, out of the 3 pipes I have owned, FMF, cpi in and out of frames, it always got better, only slightly from the in to out of frames. Even on a stock bike I think they are the best for any riding. -
Whatever Happened To The Oldhead Hqer`s?
-Turbo- replied to NYUK's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I remember a few of those, some much better than others. What is bad is that I can't even remember how many different versions of the fourm we have gone through??? Been quite a few that's for sure... -
Brian, I agree 100% that 72hp is allot and that there is tons of power. I think there must be some grey area in what we consider low end. I had a 404 just like Meat's and trust me, that was low end. Do you even ride the low end with a 72hp bike? Doubt it, also, no matter what, the curve will shoot up only because with allot of hp, where else does it have to go? For the type of riding I do, what in the hell is low end anyhow??? Just tell me where it comes on and that's the rpm's that I leave in! I'm not downning you at all, just being around tons of porting its easy to tell how a bike is going to act by the porting. BTW, is this the same Dynoedge that Shooter works at??? If it is, I can't speak for their MX abilities but when it comes to getting every hp possible, they were able to do that years ago...
-
Well, to gain more throughout, not lose any compression or low end you go wider with the exaust and work on the transfers, never taller on the exaust. Is there any way you can find out how many deg's your exaust is set for??? There shouldn't be anymore than just cleaning the casting marks off the intake. If they didn't go too high you should be able to go with a 4mm crank and raise the cylinders with spacer plates to get your bottom end back, or some of it atleast along with adding more throughout the powerband. Advancing the crank will help some also. Would love to see some pics of this!!! For whoever said they were running 72 hp on stock cylinders and still had a ton of low end, well, show me. You cannot get 72 hp without it being peaky or if you can its the first motor in history to do so. There are allot of great builders out there but for a MX port job the only name that I can think of is Dan Wade @ Patriot racing. I'd pay money just to hear this guy speak!
