  2. i also have jugs stock bore i believe (have to check) with head, make offer.
  3. I have complete red plastic not cut if your interested.
  4. Thanks for helping with the 8 silver frames, MAYBE that is why I gave the engine code but really thanks for your insight. I just want someone with a new, 2001 and up clymers to look and see what year this is. I know my 87-95 clymers had the engine code numbers but this number is not there so I think it is newer. Or if you don't have a clymers you could look at the engine code on your bike if you know the year. If your number is near this number 188641 then it could help me narrow it down.
  5. Frame is silver plastics are new, I know it is a newer banshee since the number on the engine is so high but i want a year.
  6. I didn't look at the frame but I got the number off the engine case 3gg-188641. I don't have clymers that identifies this number. Thanks!
  7. I'll check that but i think it does not run near any moving parts.
  8. Even though this is not a banshee question i am hoping some people may have some insight into my problem. I have a 87 yz 125 that has a throttle problem. At times when I go over a whoops section the throttle gets stuck and the thing goes wide open. It only does this going over bumpy terrain. I have replaced the twist throttle, sprayed the whole thing with wd to check for air leaks but I still can't find the problem. I am going to replace the throlttle cable and go through the carb sometime this week. Beofre I start I need some ideas that anyone has on why the throottle is sticking... Thanks
  9. I have had both and I like honda atvs. Compared to a banshee it is like drivng a cadillac. It is fun all around and thats why I like it. And as for reliabilty I would never go five miles away from my truck on a banshee without gettting a bit worried. On a honda I would go until the tank runs out without a worry.
  10. I have seen an ad for a 2001 yz 125. The motor is completely shot top and bottom end took in water.. What would you offer for it they want best offer.
  11. go to the site www.marissa.org then you'll find it.
  12. How do you like it and or which one is better? I am considering getting one or the other soon.
  13. I feel you pain, I too live in NY and have tried to register an atv with just a bill of sale. All I can say is it is a lost cause. I hear there is a way to get a title but I have never met anyone who has done it in Ny. I personally called many people in albany to get a definite answer and the people upstate said it anint gonna happen no matter what you do. This took me six months to find out and as you know you need to have it registered or a title to get it back if it gets impounded. So What I ended up doing is getting a new frame off ebay that had a title. Hey it took 10 years off my banshee and only cost me 100 because I then sold mine. THis is just another reminder why NY sucks for ATV riders
  14. Well I got an old banshee really cheap. All it needs is a rebuild and a bunch of odds and ends. Now before I start the engine had been sitting for quite a while. I could tell because inside the cylinders there were cob webs and dust. When I pulled of the cylinders to get a look at the crank I could see that some dust and crap had gotten in by the crank and had stuck because of the oily mix. I cleaned up the dust that I could but I can still see some brown stuff down at the bottom. The cranks spins well and the rods have no up and down play. What should I do about the funk at the bottom there isn't alot but I know it should be clean. Can I put some mixed fuel in there and turn over the engine to wash it out or maybe some shots of WD40? And what can I use to wash out the water jackets to get the cob webs out?
