I ran my old banshee without pipes once. It idled and ran, just had no power. It was really loud too. I ran it down to our shop and back, maybe 3/4 of a mile trip, nothing happened to it. I dont know that its necessarily good or bad, I just didnt give a fuck.

I think the Noss Heads look alot better. In reality they do the same thing. Ive have both and I like my Noss head alot better. Surely shipping isnt $100??? That's crazy.

We used a saws all to cut ours.. Ive also heard of people using a puddy knife. They take a propane torch and heat up the end of it and then melt right through the knobs. Im sure there are a hundred ways to do it, I dunno the best way though.
