  1. I should be there, pimp'n as usual.
  2. ...nothing wrong with that. You still ride...all that matters.
  3. Happy B-day man, I'll drink a pitcher to that tonight at the bar.
  4. ...People are strange, when you're a stranger... Speaking of strange...
  5. No shit...I'm still LMAO! I listen to Led Zeppelin, constantly. I play guitar like crazy whenever I get bored...couple Sundays ago I played for 7hrs, no shit... I'll slam one to the 'ol lady anytime she'll let me; gotta have some Zep in the background. I belch, real loud...can't even describe it; but ask anyone that knows me & they'll tell ya it's nutty. I make my dog hunt for nothing, just so I can see him get all excited & confused. I have to have a cig right before bed & on my way to work. Banshee HQ, one of my most addicting habbits.
  6. Mine did the exact same thing a couple weeks ago... Mine came off when I was removing the gas line, I was pulling on the line & off popped the whole SOB. I imagine I'll/we'll be stuck with buying new ones , but Thank God for gasket maker...has been working soo far, no leaks.
  7. Pick me up on the way...I'll supply the beer.
  8. Sounds like a plan, man. May the force be with you.
  9. That's what I'm saying...shit, I got more $$ into my banshee.
  10. For sale by Alba,....check it out. http://www.albaaction.com/atv/Yamaha/sport/corybanshee.htm
  11. Well it looks like the guys got ya up-to-spec on what you're going to get into/look for....as for where to get a manual. You may just check some local bike shops, I've not been up that way for a while, so off the top of my head I couldn't tell ya. Another alternative(probably cheaper too) Go to: http://www.repairmanual.com/catalog/M486-4
  12. Get a clymers, it will make what you're seeing, make sense. I'd pull the clutch off, when you do remove the 6 clutch bolts & springs, the clutch plates & pressure plate should all come off, tip it up a bit & the ball should come out. Pray to god the little ball didn't weld itself to the rod. You may just be waaay out of adjustment, or have a toasted clutch. Look at the clutch plates for wear, the manual gives specs on the correct width of the metal plates also. When adjusted correctly the arm on the case should have a little play in it(say a little under a quarter of an inch or so), but will be aligned with the arrow on the case. You need that freeplay there to help keep the ball from welding to the rod. And yes, you should be able to see the clutch dis-engauge when pulling the lever with the sidecase off. Hope this makes sense & helps ya out a bit. Hang tight & some other's will chime in... Good luck!
  13. Mothers. Works everytime.
  14. Hey Minkia,...PM me if that guy doesn't follow through...I got a black set off my '97 in mint shape.
  15. Better to fix it first. Mine's kinda doing the same thing, I rode on it for a bit & heard a pop, now something's rattling around the clutch & shit....depending on what it is, should be to hard to fix. Pull the clutch cover off & take a look at it and see what ya find...better safe than sorry. If ya don't have one yet, before you tear into it, get a clymers manual.
  16. Could be something with your coil, possible bad plug cap connection. Dunno about the cdi...most cdi's I've seen/heard of going bad just quit & stop allowing any spark. Could be something with the stator possibly, does it backfire at all?
  17. I mix my 927 40:1 with 93oct.
  18. Well since my shee is making funny noises on the clutch side and I don't have chit to lower it, I won't be race'n...but I may very well go to watch. Good luck, stay away from the dyno this time!
  19. Looks like Holyman's got ya straitened out, I re-routed my hoses so they all go south between the back of the frame & the swingarm.
  20. That's flat nutty, insane fast!
  21. With your height, go with the 250. Trust me, I've had one & I'm 6'1 myself... The power is not insane, is very controlable, is a great beginner bike if you ask me. I liked mine a lot, great trail & dirtroad'n bike. I wouldn't mind having another...but if I get another db it's going to be a big dual-sport, like an XR400 or DR650. Here's a pic of my old TTR250. Sorry for it being HUGE....
  22. Several broken nose(s)--FB, g/f, banshee, fights shattered wrist-FB, banshee hand-Stupid wall anyway. Dislocated kneecap-FB arm-after a drunk night, still don't know exactly how I did it. collarbone-trx125, FB also several fingers & I too've done the pinky toe snap on a desk, probably the most painful too.
  23. Right on! Good luck man, I want some pics!
  24. Werd. I've turned out alright, have had a steady job for 5yrs now, am a supervisor over a tech support group of 5 techs supporting now close to 70,000 customers, have insurance, benefits, PTO, vacation time, kick ass 401k(75cents to my $1), and will soon have my own graphics business. Yep, that pot's sure screwed up my life...
