whatever riding boots you choose will have to be broken in..... however, the army taught me the best way to break in leather boots. mink oil and heat. get yourself a tub of mink oil, paste it on th boots real thick. now you can do one of two things: 1. if the boots have plastic buckles, i put them in a black garbage bag and sit them out in the sun or next to a heating vent for a week or so.... 2. if metal buckles, i just throw them in the oven at about 250 to 300 for a few hours. trust me, by the time you finish this method....the term "break in" will no longer be part of your vocab.

can everyone slow down a bit. i think my earlier replies say it all. i was not being an "ass", i outlined the miss-communication as it stands. i'm not exactly sure where/when this got so out-of-hand. bansheeman, we had a deal, after the phone conversation yesterday. i treated you in a polite manner, with tact. i have left responses on BHQ in a polite manner, with tact. i certainly expect the same in return. i dont expect, how do you put it...."a pile of shit wrapped in the box too" you have successfully made your logon name a warning to sellers and buyers alike, and drug my name along with it now. as far as this transaction goes, it is over, you can mail the money order back and deal with someone else. we agreed upon an amount the day of the sale. after that you asked for more money. deal broken, deal over. thanks for your time, have a good one.
-
we'll let him off the hook this time. throw it over in the miss-communication pile, i guess. no the best situation but i have now talked to him and worked this out to a final solution, i think.......... thanks all for the help and input.
