If I would’ve kept mine, I would have dented em in with a hammer.

The Toomys I had did the same, also the right pipe hit the frame. I sold em, wanted a little different power curve that what they had.

The shutoff doesn’t have to be leaking, it could have gunk in it restricting flow. I’d drain the tank, check fuel filter, and maybe spray some cleaner or compressed air through it.

Already had some fiberglass pipe wrap on order, but ordered some hose as well. I figure a skinny wrap and the hose over that should work great. As soon as I get my inserts for my pyrometers welded in the pipes I’ll be able to put it all back together.

Fix your air leak, this is killing you. if the problem still persists I’d look at fuel delivery. fuel filter fuel shutoff hoses even possible air leak in the carb

Filters are angled down in the pics, not even possible to fit em if they are angled up.

New SLP pipes, with new 28 pwk’s and K&N pods. filters rub on pipes, I’m sure it’s common but how much room is adequate? I did buy some pipe wrap, but it will be in direct contact.

I’ve been through a handfull of Chinese cylinders. Not banshee cylinders, but the cheap AM cylinders typically have poor plating, inferior angles casted in the tunnels, and out of round bores. I used the last one for target practice

Sure looks that way, it looks like the cast one. You may want to pull the flywheel and check it. I was told to shitcan the cast one and get a machined one. So I made the switch

For viton, the groove should be 70% of the diameter. If I remember correctly
