My motor is a stock bore/stroke...i was gonna port the jugs....so i was wondering if bigger carbs would help...ive heard conflicting things about it...ive heard ported jugs and oem carbs work good as well...i just know someone who is selling a set of 38mm flat slides....i think they’re mikunis.

Powercore 2’s.....like i said, they just need to be stripped of the black paint and either chromed, powdercoated, or whatever...theyre not at all in bad shape..i was going to strip and repowder, and put them back on, and i started stripping one pipe, but just lost interest and decided to get toomeys...

I have a set of fmf gold series pipes and silencers...theyre painted high temp black... i started stripping the paint and i was gonna have em sandblasted and powdered...ended up buying T5’s instead.. one little dent but otherwise nice...pm me for pics..im just looking to get rid of them 220+ shipping or best offer ..looking to unload them
  7. Ya..ive heard that from more than one person.....im gonna scrap it......for safety and people just dont seem to be huge fans of them in general........
  8. Its a 1/4 turn...my friend gave it to me when he sold his bike(he never installed)....maybe its more hassle than its worth.....i like twist throttles better, but its not a huge deal if i have one...why is a 1/2 turn worse than a 1/4? Thats not even something i considered.
  9. Got a Motion Pro twist throttle kit...do i need to get any other parts to install this? I think the tors kit is included in it, but i saw something about an idle kit? I thought the kit covered everything
  10. Anyone know any good 2 stroke/banshee guys around the MA,NH area? ...id rather bring my banshee to a shop/builder than do a tear down and send the motor out...Just looking for a spot to bring it...im looking to get it ported...

  12. I do have stock swingarms, like i said i do mainly trail/sandpit riding.....im leaning towards getting it ported...i may order the T5 pipe kit too...my 02 had T5’s and i loved the sound........i know theyre trendy for a banshee, but i think they sound second to none....

  14. Great suggestions so far..I forgot also have FULL FLIGHT a arms on it...so many choices lol.....New Carbs are an option too.......i like the idea of a port and polish....
  15. I was also thinking of a hotrods 4mm oem stroker kit...i think theyre about 700$, but ive heard mixed reviews about hotrod cranks

Whats up ya’ll.. i have a Banshee that id like to do some motor work to..1500$ doesnt include labor..the machine has some engine work already, but i wanna do some more...so what would you guys do with a 1500$ budget to your motors..it has the following engine mods: Pro Design Cool Head /ported/polished Pro Lite pistons Boyesen Rad valve with chrome reed spacers Pro Flo intake Full FMF’s id like to get different jugs, bigger carbs, and maybe a forged crank, but who knows? I just want some ideas...
