Hi Guys,
Hope everybody going great today!
I just purchased a 2007 banshee with YFZ450 shock on it. I'm not really for this mod but you know, got it like this.
Considering that I'll probably put LSR 2+ 1+ with elka STG3 next year, I just want to run safe for this season. Don't want to break a ball joint at high speed you know
I don't want to trash money and buy lowering kit from Ebay for make this fit correctly, anyway everything will get out of there this winter during entire rebuilt.
My plan:
Cut out 3 row of the progressive coil spring section (upper one), I know what some people will say but for sure, I'll be sure to not cut too much so the spring can stay loaded under entire shock extension. But this way front of the quad will drop around 2-3 inch and ball joint will return at their safe spot (straith)
good idea? some people already made this? any experience? any other idea?
Let me know guys!
thanks
