  1. I NEED HELP... BRAINSTORMING.... For now she looks like this and can't wait for a rip!
  2. After 7min... it drop around 0.1PSI so better to said nothing! So NO LEAK AT ALL.
  3. Ok Guys... UPDATE!!!! Leak down test done! And now I'm sure crank seal/key are sealed! Pump it to 7.5PSI let sit for approx. 7min.
  4. thxs for answer... that's what I think... I having a lot of experience for buiding engine and I'm well equipped... so couple hours in my case... did the 450r to a friend in 1 days last month. I just need to deal with family time and doing it, kind of pissed because a paid 3400$ for this, like to "run this summer head free"... but shit happened like usual in 2 stroke world when you buy a bike... Keep you posted guys thanks _Steve_
  5. OK Guys, Thanks for all the good answer and opinion.... I'll be sure my homemade leak down tester are ok, without any leak and redo a leak down test this week end. I'll probably take picture or video and come back with you ASAP when it's done... I'll prepare a bottle of wash soap to find any leak and spray it into both vent tube when the system is charged in PSI... so if the key, seal or case internal leak... I'll see directly... If it's leaking from the key... no big deal here easy to fix, just remove the primary gear and seal the key back with yamabond? If it's a case leak, in this case I having no choice to split it? any tricks? Other question... any of you was able to fix/change de crank seal without splitting the case? Any tricks? I'm planned to redo the entire bike this winter... but I will like to finish the summer season and rip it! thanks
  6. will perform a other leak down test this week end...
  7. I replace the radiator and coolant... it began to spit after.... is it possible that something goes wrong with the RAD I install, coolant? Just check the level this morning, as routine, and everything is level normal... good color e.t.c
  8. just made a other test for testing my vent! plug a bike pump to the WATER PUMP CASE VENT TUBE, shoot maybe 2-3 PSI air come out freely by the other vent without any oil or bubble. plug a bike pump to the REAR VENT TUBE, shoot maybe 2-3 PSI and Air isn't coming out freely like the other one and oil spit..... Can I just delete and plug the WATER PUMP VENT TUBE, and just go rip it with only the rear vent and see what happened? It let me think that vent goes wrong with each other. Like one goes against the other one and push the oil out when it's hot and expended.... Seriously I'm pretty sure my crank seal is ok, but for sure I will perform a other leak down test this week end for be sure.... I'm asking again, DO YOU THINK THAT THE CASE CAN BE PRESURISED BY THE BLOCK OFF PLATE BEHIND THE CASE SAVER, I REPLACE AN ORING THERE AND IT'S TOTALLY LINKED WITH THE INTERNAL TRANS CASING, IF IT LEAKS, CAN HE SUCK UP AIR AND PUSH OIL?
  9. when the problem began, it was routed like factory with the platic T link and routed like factory to the handle bar... that's why I rerouted them because I took a oil shower everytime I took the bike for a run... sometime after hard riding, just when it spit, if I unscrew the oil cap I hear pressure come out! Do you have a complete exact procedure for the leakdown test. because I performed it like the shop manual said. hold it 2 min per side.
  10. moose case saver trans oil flush carb maintenance oversized radiator new prestone new denso coil cap and plug
  11. mostly of the time it spit from the water pump case vent not the back one! normally that mean the back one is clogged or pinched... but mine is ok!
  12. slide or cable stock in some condition? it happened to me.... I polished my slide and no problem since...
  13. Hi Guys, Since 2 or 3 month I wrote a topic about it, many diagnostic was made without success.... problem still there. First my bike: Banshee 2007 (engine mod list) 380cc big bore Vforce 3 Toomey T5 rebuilted carb with Toomey needle (4th clip). (main 320-pilot 27.5) Oversized Alu. Radiator Moose racing case saver Ok first, when I bought the shee 3-4 month ago, everything was ok. After did my little mod and maintenance, gear box oil begin to spit from the vent after 2 or 3 WOT. Since this time it still spit but never the same amount or nothing. Last ride a 35 degrees, full open throttle gave the shit out of it, I lost maybe 1L.... Diagnostic already made (IM SURE ALL THIS ARE OK) oil level ok! (whatever the amount of oil into it, it will spit till it's empty) vent are not clogged or pinched and right routed crank seal clutch side ok, leak down test performed and pipe don't smoke more than the other one. KEEP IN MINE THAT THE BIKE RUN REALLY GREAT! My question: do you think the case saver mod can make and be pressurized by the little white plastic block off plate behind the case saver, if it not sealed properly? do you think I'm using a wrong oil type (motul transoil easter) and it boil and clog the vent.... then oil is pushed completely out by the water pump case vent? is it possible that my clutch slip a little bit in 5 or 6th gear and make the oil boil and hot enough to create problem? do you having other idea? I'm kind of frustrated because I checked everything so many time and cannot ride my shee without spit oil everywhere on my bike and fill it after every ride. I reroute the vent tube at the back of the swing arm for prevent oil to go on my tune pipe or everywhere on my shee but still go everywhere on the back of the bike. goes on my tail pipe and contaminated my rear brake. I called every banshee specialist I knows and they don't fkn know wtf happen with my shee..... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! Let me know thanks
  14. When I bought it was klotz.I change the oil and be sure level is ok with motul ester. With both oil it spit from the vent. Spit around 500ml in less than 1km but full trottle.
  15. Ok guys... Just made some test, Vent from waterpump case: free air passing with oil bubble (oil cap open or not) Vent from the back: Free air passing when oil cap is remove and when cap is srewed tight, not! Pressure is made. WTF? Make no sense...
  16. I'll check another time again and again but I'm pretty sure not!
  17. Just go in my garage and pulled the gearbox oil cap off and heard pressure come out! How it can happen? Vent are not clogged and rode it since 2 hours
  18. Sorry! Most of the bike a part but not the engine...
  19. Why it was not doing this when I try it just before bought it! It begin just after I put it a parts... and I'm sure that no hose are pinched or clogged... the only work I perform was new coil, cap and plug, rebuilt carb, moose case saver, oversized rad and some bushing and bearing..
  20. I heard that banshee with mods will spit gearbox oil because motor spin faster than normal? I don't beleve in this... I don't perform a leak test because I don't have the gage. But what can presurize the gearbox case without the crank seal? And the gearbox oil was set to 1400ml for make sure it's not overfilled... that was my first thinking! The only mod I made that touch the gearbox it's a moose case saver and I change the rubber seal behind the white plastic parts for make sure I have no leak! Maybe it vome from there?
  21. I want to mention too that I'm pretty sure my crank seal gearbox side is ok because bike is running great and dont have more smoke from this side pipe...
