Claude are the measurements both outside diameters of the head and the stinger pipe connects. From looks of it FMF Fatty head pipe OD is 1.007", FMF Power Core silencer stinger pipe is 1.114" OD and 1.003" ID, if these will work on me I like to support local and BHQ sponsors Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk

Fullbore hood and fender colors
Canadianshee replied to #1JUANstunna's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I would buy a full set of fullbore's if the pricing was better, a full set of OEM is cheaper with dealer discount, then fullbore plus having to deal with shipping/boarder ECT. If the price was better and easier access to us northerners, I would buy a set. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk -
What nerf bars do most run now?
Canadianshee replied to Lowflyin's topic in General Banshee Discussion
That sucks how long did the factory welds to break. I have been debating about getting the aluminum heal guard type nerfs for next banshee when I find a good one. This is the only issue I've had that I had to reweld. But powder coated black to looks better. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk -

I'm running AC pro-peg nerfs with nets. Seems very solid. Had them powder coated during last rebuild. Not sure what company you were looking at HSD racing has warehouses in Canada and the USA and they carry a.c. and factory 43 nerfs, prices are listed in Canadian and US dollars. If they have what you want they have no problems shipping and it reasonable. To bad they are not listed as a site supporter. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk -
Should try to put double wall shrink wrap on to help keep it clean Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk

So a compression change should not effect the plug gap spec requirement. I guess what I'm trying to ask since I've installed 21cc dome my compression has increased over stock does the oem gap still apply, or should a different gap be used. Its just a question after reading through this thread, I assumed that plugs come pre gapped, but checked 4 sets I had just now, not a single one was within spec (BR8ES type) from the dealer. Going to double check here on in. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk

I've set mine to the manual as well running stock coil and cdi. With dome change and a bit higher compression should gap be changed. Sorry to hijack your thread. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk

What's the common gap spec most use on pump or pump/race mix?. Do you need to gap different with dome size change say 21cc's. I had gapped mine to the manual. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk

For the cost of the pilots you might as well. If your planning on doing more modifications in the future you might needs to change pilots. I'm at 600 ft and am going to be using 330 main 27.5 pilots air screw 1 and quarter turns out from bottom. But my cylinders are ported. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk

I would do what previous poster had mentioned. Order a few different size jet. If you have 280 in now order 290, 300 maybe lower as well. Better to be covered. But do a plug chop to help you determine where your jetting is. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk

How close are you to San Juan del Sur. There is a atv rental shop that rents out Yamaha ATV ECT. I rented one a few years back. They might have some parts your looking for or could help order them in. Guys here should be able to get you close to what you need. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk

28 PWK carbs worth while for my build
Canadianshee replied to Canadianshee's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
When the time comes to use the 28 PWK's, will the OEM intake boots accommodate the 28 without causing an issue. Kind of a stupid question is the choke tube then eliminated that's on the OEM carbs when using the 28pwks and does this effect starting if this makes sense. Forgot to mention also running chariot head 21cc domes and chariot reed cage. Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk -

Canadianshee replied to Canadianshee's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
I'm not planning on going bigger at this point, but who knows. I've caught the banshee bug bad and my current build is still waiting for first start lol. Will be picking up carbs, cable, and fender brackets for 400.00 canadian. Carbs are only six months old. I don't mind having a few spare goodies around for the future. Thanks for a fast response. How are they for jetting, I might pick these up for the future Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk -
Just wanted to ask if there is any advantage or disadvantages to running 28mm PWK carbs on the following build (trail bike) Stock bore, stock stroke MX porting (HJR), FMF Fatties, no lid on air box, upgraded cooling system. Carbs are local but wanted to check here first to make sure its worth it. Thanks again Sent from my LG-H831 using Tapatalk
