I completely agree. The MX might not be ideal in terms of race performance but at least it will be put together correctly and everything will jive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good point. And my error - I was referring only to the frame. I would be getting new arms etc regardless if I went OEM or MX or Outlaw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Was speaking of just the frame... sorry. If I keep the stock frame I'm doing new arms, stem, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What is a good price on the eBay Outlaw Chassis?
-
Powder coat and welding I was planning on spending $500. I figure I can get 1k for my OEM rolling chassis as listed. I can get the LSR for around 2k with a package deal. Therefore additional $500 out of pocket when compared to using the OEM frame. That's my math. Going to see what I can do about acquiring that Outlaw chassis... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Strictly recreational. That was the original plan... to gusset and powder coat the stock frame. But I did some math and it will only cost me 500-1k more to have a brand new upgraded frame. Not to mention it will nice to have the suspension all set up on the roller. Plus I can work a better package deal. Basically a few hundred bucks gets me a brand new Banshee and saves some elbow grease. Just my logic... may not be correct that's why I'm discussing. Wonder why LSR is only making the MX frame... Those chassis are no longer available... seems like the best option is the LSR MX. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if those goes extinct as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Gonna be mixed use... right now light MX, mostly trail. Hopefully dune and desert in the future when I can move back out west. I'm building a Banshee because it's an "instant classic." I had a Raptor before and loved it, but I want something truly special. This one is going to be a keeper Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I will be putting my OEM rolling chassis for sale shortly. Hopefully avoiding eBay ... 2006 with clear VIN Nothing cut or bent Straight & level Includes: Complete front suspension Complete rear suspension Front & Rear OEM shocks Steering stem Stock front tires/wheels ITP Baja Rear wheels ITP Holeshot rear tires Rear Axle Chain & Sprocket I have other components available as well. Not looking to part out the chassis. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is my thought... it's stronger, lighter, and 4130 chromoly. And after I sell my stock chassis, the cost is similar to gusseting and powder coating my stock frame. Seems like the easiest route to go. Does anyone know the difference between the outlaw frame and the MX? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why is that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So I spoke with Lonestar Racing today and I'm close to ordering a rolling chassis. They only make their MX frame for the Banshee. I'm told that it has stock geometry and a removable subframe. My question to everyone... 1. Anyone have experience with their MX frames 2. And should I do Pro Pegs which allows direct bolt on of nerf bars of use factory peg location? That's what I'm learning as I begin to part my bike out. My rolling chassis will be for sale soon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What's the difference ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Gotcha. At that price I'm better off paying full retail and getting a new one. Especially since I am wanting a different color. Thanks for looking out tho Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And who is building your frame? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm on the other side of the country and a little skeptical.... he shouldn't have that hard of a time selling it. Too good to be true ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does anyone have a contact or someone they have worked with at Lonestar? I have yet to hear back on a final quote... You would think a complete rolling chassis would be a nice sale to chase down. My motor arrives at Duncan Friday.

I'm probably going to start from scratch. Hopefully it works out with LSR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok thanks for your help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't have FB... can you post the info? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for the advice. From what LSR has told me, they are only building a frame that is almost identical geometry to the stock frame. Just waiting to here back on a final quote. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No I wish, just the suspension except the Swing Arm. I haven't found anyone else that makes a frame.
-
I have the same feeling. May go with Roll Designs and keep the stock swing arm, worst case. Roll is willing to deal and really want my business Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Everything is torn down. Depending what I hear from LSR, I may be selling this rolling chassis. If I don't go with a LSR frame, I will have the frame powder coated next. Hoping LSR gives me a good deal so I can start with a clean slate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
