Ohhhh. I see. Is there any way to verify its the crossover tube other than doing a leak down test? -
Rpm increases with choke

I did notice that those tubes are pretty old, discolored, and frail. I'll replace the old lines and see if that fixes the problem. -

Rpm increases with choke

No I'm not riding with it on. Just checked it at idle. I changed my jetting recently and it is idling great, but if I pull the choke out while it is idling it idles higher than with the choke in. -
So I thought I was Lean so I switched from 27.5 pilot 280 mains to a 30 pilot and 300 mains. I put new plugs in, ran a plug chop and the plugs look perfect! But if the engine is warm and I pull the choke while it's running, it increases in rpm. Not drastically but it's noticeable. What's the issue here? I played around with the airs crew and didn't see a change.

Alright, I was able to get out to ride today finally. It seems to be running good, plugs looked ok, but there was one problem. When I let it idle without the choke it idles good, but if I pull out the choke it goes higher RPM. This means the pilot is jetted too lean, right?... I'm at 1-1/2 screws out on the air screw btw.

Ive got VF3 with a 27.5 pilot... I just changed it from 25 so I can't say definitively, but it seems to be running great so far.
-
I'm gonna run it this weekend and check the plugs. I'll get back to you guys.
-
Yeah that's what I'm afraid of... I'm going to try going up to 290 mains and bring the needle clip to 3rd. I'm not trying to blow this thing up lol

LOL this troll is creating some good entertainment for us all at least
-
Thanks guys! I'll try your suggestions
-
Yes, Very quickly. Feels too quick.
-
Thanks tdod, I'm going to try that this weekend. Zilla, I'm not even sure it is a problem, might just be the difference in pipes that I'm feeling. It just feel drastically different than my last bike.

Hey guys just got a 2006 banshee stock engine and carbs. Running FMF fatties, vforce 3 reeds, and k+n pods. 900ft elevation. Right now I'm at 280 mains, 27.5 pilots, and 4th clip needle. I am getting up to high rpm's very quickly on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. I previously had Trinity stage 4 pipes. Am I just used to the low end power of the trinities or is this a jetting issue?
-
Engine is stock, but I have pipes, pods, reeds
-
Just bought an '06 banshee, and they came with ITP sand star 20x11-10R paddles (front and rear). Anyone have any experience with these? They any good?
