  1. 6-8 is ideal. 10 is a bit extreme unless going just straight
  2. Many 10 mils in stk cases round these parts. All of em scream
  3. Get a tape and measure from rim to rim on the inside of wheels. Front of rim and back of rim. Get these the same measurement. Or up to 1/8" closer in the front which is toed in. This all while having the bars straight. To get it to roll straight you might need to move both tie rods one in and one out to essentially turn the wheels to match the bars while keeping a straight toe. Hope that is understandable
  4. Upp intakes will fix your intake problem
  5. Man most of you dont even understand structural integrity. Just please know how to fabricate properly before building anything. Before it breaks like that swingarm in this thread. And you hurt yourself or others. You can extend a stocker to be just as strong if not stronger then a complete new one. After its all said and done, just build new. Imo
  6. A drag port does not mean a ring snagging beast. The most extreme drag ports still dont catch rings. There is more piston/ring wear. But what hsppened here is something done wrong. That needs to be addressed
  7. Looks lean to me. Looks like it ran lean, got hot, expanded the piston, caught a ring, as well as brown up the pistons and domes which aint normal in that time. Lean, hot, blown!
  8. You just need the proper sized orings. And he meant to sand down the oring to gain clearance
  9. I never had any issues with knockoffs. Ive always used the ones from Tsracing.com
  10. Good numbers! Cool looking bike too. Was it ever a comparison with a serval to a cub? I think it would be pretty clear the cub would be alot "meaner".
  11. Get those metering rods and idle screws on the lectrons dialed and it will start easy.
  12. Is this an override? Why are the forks worn at all like that if its a stock trans
  13. Ive ran nikasil with gouges and grooves. Still running. Post pics.
  14. All atf is not created equal. Drag guys use type F because it grabs harder. All other atfs have some slipping agents in them for smoother shifting in cars.
  15. Ive had the studs leak tranny fluid before. I left it that way till the next tear down. Never had a problem because of it. Obviously mine didnt seal perfect around a stud so it leaked a tad. Its fine.
