I just got my banshee running again after 3 years. Finally installed my SLP's I got from you in December. Time flies by when you have a kid!

And a mountain bike.... Just kidding. I have a 2 going on 3 year old daughter. I completely understand.

I missed a set of IMS ones on here awhile ago. Then got excited when JDS got some traffic about making a set in his "what do you want" post. ...But no luck so far!

This is probably a long shot but... is anyone looking to sell a set of aftermarket heel guards. IMS or similar (I don't know if any other companies made them).

What ever happened with the heel guards?

Finally seems to be running happy. 145 main, 48 pilot, moved the clip to 4th position on the needles. Don't have the real estate to do a proper plug chop right now.

Do you have the instructions that came with the arms?

Thinking I'll go back to 48 pilots and ajust the needle to the 4th position

Back to the original topic... I am having a similar bog. I'm running 28pwk's also with stock engine, SLP pipes, air box w/ k&n pro design adapter, k&n lid and one 2 inch SLP vent in the box, +3 timing, and 40:1 castor 927 w/93 octane. 145 main, 48 pilot, jjh needle clip in 3rd position. Starts and idles good. Bogs out right away and wants to stall unless I keep the revs up. Once the big clears out everything is good. Thought it was a rich pilot so I went down to 45 pilots and 1 1/2 turns out. Bog is gone but I might be lean. Got stuck in a tight spot and started to overheat.

Using Maxima castor 927 at 40:1 with 93 octane. Should I start by adjusting the air screws?

Well I finally got it running today. Got a bit of a bog off of idle. Wants to stall out when letting the clutch out unless I keep the revs up. Running 145 mains, 48 pilot, jjh needles with clip in the 3rd position, air screws are 1 1/2 turns out. Pulls hard once it gets past the bog.

I use anti seize on the slide bolts

Thanks for the heads up sheerider11. Used a Grabit extractor and the sheared off bolt came right out. Put the new bolt in with a ratchet this time instead of the impact/screw gun!

I'll extractor first. Wasn't thinking and used a screw gun with a socket adapter. Snapped off clean!

Has anyone snapped the bolt for the clutch cable holder bracket on top of the case? Any ideas for a quick repair? Or should I just drill it out and re-tap it?
