  2. Oh goodness...I just bought a set of alky carbs...I've heard it was tedious..but set up right a beast will come alive...I have a lot of learning to do...I ran a 6.9 on pump gas in the 1/8. Anxious to see it on Alky.. Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  3. That sucks.... Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk

  10. Thanks for the info...I know that now...I'll make sure to do that the next time..can U tell me why? Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  11. Not for sure what's considered the inner and outlet...and I used some clear rv silicone type stuff around the orings and let it dry over night. Worked well. No issues Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  12. I have those already in...these are quite smaller than the ones u are referring to..I won't worry about em...and ok I'll check for the air leak Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  13. Guess that's not my leak then. And yes it's a pro design. Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  14. I do have a an annoying transmission leak. I'm guessing that would cause an air leak.. In the mean time can u tell me where these two extra o rings go...looks like they have to do with the spark plug but I don't we where... Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  15. Sure does...use to do it quite often...then i thought maybe I wasn't tightening them enough...haven't in some time now . I know that has to do with detonation. I run 93 cause my compression not over 150...unless I had a junk tester.. Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  16. Guess I'll be backing out the screw a lil...thanks for eveyones suggestions... Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  17. Dent can not be seen from plain view...I just happen to feel it Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  18. I may have found my issue, as I was investigating the problem of the discoloration, I did find a noticeable dent on the pipe that goes with the piston that has the light brown. Have no idea how I got that. I'm guessing dragging at a track some time ago that had large clunks of clay and rocks. At idle it definitely has less smoke and ping than the good pipe side. While revving, they both feel the same. So would this play a role in the discoloration? Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  19. I didn't....was doing a simple oring change and noticed it...still runs great and spark plugs are the same color Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  20. Hello...can anyone tell me what you see as far as the difference in piston color means? Left side edge is faded while the right side is jet black... Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  21. Price dropped to 425 shipped Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  22. Guess it confused me cause last time I had a bad oring it leaked through the cylinder and mixed with my gas...Like iceracer said.. Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  23. Thank you for the thorough explanation...Looks like it's leaning towards a bad oring... Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  24. Which made me think in the very first post. If a bad gasket would cause excess compression in the coolant system, then why wouldn't a loose clamp do the same thing? Since they serve the same purpose as keeping things air tight.. Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
  25. YES YES...EXACTLY..LOL...glad we got that clarified...I was wondering why some of the stuff u were saying earlier made me scratch my head. I apologize if I didn't make it clear from the beginning.. Sent from my LG-D722 using Tapatalk
