15.71inches these ohlins ones are buddy, yeah i see what you guys a saying. My shocks are toast, i dont do much jumping its mainly for the highways!

its 1.18inch, ive read a few people putting YFZ 450 shocks on which are longer?

the shocks are 399mm which is under 16inch, going from the part number. My std shocks are 370mm eye to eye. surely that extra 3cm wont affect the handling too much?

Seen a nice cheap set of ohlins shocks off a TRX 250. Question is... will they fit? I havent measured my shocks yet but the ohlins are 400mm eye to eye.

Sorry to hijack but do these calipers bolt straight on or will a bracket need to be fabricated?

Right, itll be long rod 4 mill stroker with 66mm 795 pistons. Chariot head, vforce 4. Can anyone point me in the direction to which domes do i need please.

Sweet dude, thanks for that advice. i can get pistons, gaskets & cranks no problem, its the other bits that are a nightmare like heads/domes etc. Itll be the long rod motor & i wont be running spacers.

You say educate myself, that is why ive made the thread in the 1st place. Its not as simple as picking up the phone here in the UK, there is no specialists for banshees. I wont be doing the porting or the machine work. I will be assembling but i need to know where to start & how to work things out so i can work with my tuner. Parts over here are also a nightmare to get. My cylinders are in great nick & are already 66mm bore.

Itll be me building the motor, 4mil crank, blaster pistons, mild port job, vforce4, chariot head, fmf gnarleys, normal fuel from a pump. Not built it yet, shes stripped down awaiting parts.

So I know you need different cc domes for the various cool heads that are available, the question is how do you work out which size you need? Ive done a few searches but it only comes up with people asking which they need for the spec they have.
