  1. I guess i can ship, but buyer has to pay actual cost of shipping. No idea what the cost would be, but I can do my best to weigh them and calculate the cost.
  2. Trying to post pics, but seems impossible from my phone. Lemme whip out the laptop. Shoot me an offer. Even willing to trade for cool shit.

  4. OEM Black yamaha wheels and OEM Dunlop tires from a 2004 Yamaha Banshee Limited Edition. More than 50% tread left on tires. Wheels have some scuffs. No bends, damage or cracks. Located in Northern NJ, near Paramus. Pickup only.
  5. So, no real answer or refund from the dealer. Wasn't expecting one, but hoped they would at least have something to say. Lesson learned.
  6. Mods, please go ahead and close this thread. Didn't mean to start a fire, I've just always wanted to ride in the Pine Barrens. I'll be riding in PA this weekend anyway. My bad.
  7. Sup BansheeHQ. Ive never been to the Pine Barrens, and want to try and get some folks together to go riding. Kinda short notice, but please post or PM if you plan to go riding saturday, and are down to hit some dunes.
  8. Sleeper, cant thank you enough bro. Your skills and knowledge are sick. Thank god I didnt listen to the internet "just run it yo." That dealer is gonna hear a mouthful Monday... rat bastids.
  9. So, what would be next troubleshooting steps be? - Compression test - Leak Down test - Check Spark plugs for coloring, humidity - Check Cylinders for coolant ?
  10. So if I top off the reservoir again, should it just stay at that level? Or would you expect the same to happen, system to spit some coolant and level-out again?
  11. Great idea. Problem is, i dont have the proper tools, and dont want to keep buying stuff I may not need.
  12. Do I need a special gauge? I have one of those touchless thermometers. Can i use that, and if so where do Ieasure the temps?
  13. Ray from Speer Yamaha, in Passaic NJ
  14. You know, I also saw some coolant sitting around the reservoir cap. Maybe you're right... I might just be over-thinking this and freaking out.
  15. I picked-up Castrol 927, and will run it at 40:1
  16. Gotcha thanks. That's good news, at least.
  17. Oh, my mechanic sold me "Spectro Golden" 2-stroke oil, and told me to mix it 50:1 (bottle also says 50:1) Perhaps my mixture is causing me to run lean? I see you guys talking about 40:1, 32:1, etc.
  18. Sorry. I saw a fluid dripping onto my right, front header. I looked up and saw a wet "gas breather" hose, and thought nothing of it. Later, noticed the low coolant reservoir, and assumed what I had seen earlier was coolant overflow. Guess at this point, but that coolant in the reservoir went somewhere.
  19. BTW...... Freakin' floored by the response folks. Lovin' this forum. I should've come out of the woodwork a long time ago.
  20. Bought banshee, drove to mechanic (reputable), and he sync'd carbs and checked jetting, etc. Could be off, but I'd hope my mechanic got that much right. It was running like shit before he touched it, and now starts 1-3 kicks and idles nicely. Ran great when I rode it last weekend too.
  21. Honestly, 'cause I'm a noob and just learning about two-stroke motors. This is literally my first troubleshooting experience. So, kick-start it, get it running, take rad cap off, and watch coolant move around? I'll probably be checking water pump soon. Just need to order impeller.
  22. It's pretty long, I'd say at least a foot. Comes out of the gas cap, through that gold bracket, and down behind the radiator (about half way down the rad)
  23. Sorry, Im confused. You're saying steam from the radiator should NOT happen, and it might indicate a bad impeller and/or heat issue?
  24. So from what I've read and understand, a crap OEM impeller could be broken/melted, which would in-turn cause some over-heating, or hot-spots in the engine. Do you think my symptoms reflect an overheating engine? Why would I see wetness from the gas cap tube-thingy? Some kind of back-pressure into the gas tank from the heat? edit - Do you have a good link for the Mull impeller/shaft/gear?
