  1. Pictures of fubar. Tried to spin it out with a punch. No dice. Too scared to damage threads.
  2. Good point... they were lubed-up going in and i didn't fully tighten them down.
  3. Manual says 7.4 ft/lbs. I hand tighteneed, and then snugged with torque wrench. So pissed... Fresh screw extractor set should help solve it.
  4. Great, thanks. Looks like I'm buying a set of clutch adjuster screws on ebay, while I extract that screw. Maybe when I pulled the clutch case, screw head cracked when I was breaking it loose. I'll check all screws for cracks. Pain in the ass...
  5. Sweet jesus.... one of the screw/bolts broke inside the clutch plate basket....head broke right off. SWEAR i used my torque wrench set to 8 lbs. Granted, its a cheaper wrench and may be way off calibration. FUCK. Do I attempt to get the bolt stem out, drill/tap the hole, or just pay up for whole new basket?
  6. Nevermind. My clutch basket has ZERO play... nothing
  7. Good call. How much play is too much? Any good vids of clutch play and/or install?
  8. Ya'll banshee experts have probably done this in your sleep while holding a beer. This qas my first clutch, after melting it having too much fun in the recent snowfall. It felt real bad when I melted the clutch (also my first time), so I was glad to see no visible damage to any gears. Replacing with Tusk HD disks and hardware, new gasket, new 80w gear oil, new EngineICE, and fixing the rattling kick start while its off. *standby for pics
  9. Stripped screw removal bits, sold at big-box hardware stores: https://www.thegrabitstore.com/pages/how-to-use
  10. Update: she's all fixed. Correct banshee hardware now, instead of crap previous owner used.
  11. thanks HP! If I don't find what I need I'll hit you up *thumb*
  12. I think I just need 2 chain tensioner washers (90201-106F2 Washer Plate), and hardware for all 4 skidplate mount points.
  13. 90201-106F2 Washer Plate part# Dude... freakin' $3+ per washer..... I guess my brass washers will have to do.
  14. So now I've gone through the service manual 3 times. There's no parts schematic for the rear chain adjustment/pivot area. WTF. Anyone have a parts schematic and/or parts list for the rear swingarm section, which includes chain tensioner and pivot? edit - found this... Looks like all I need are 2 washers (part# 27 in this schematic). Do they need to be anything special (locking washers, etc.)?
  15. Crap... anyone got close-up pics of these parts? Trying to find everything I need off Ebay. My service manual is black/white, and pics are hard to see.
  16. Gents, Besides chain tensioners, and pivot bolt, am I missing any other parts back there?
  17. Dude, she runs like a champ! Lots of power and very FAST. Just wish I had some dunes to climb, instead of rocky trails.
  18. Ok, so I understand whats wrong with my banshee, and the parts are on order. Question is... how the freakin' frack did this happen? The lower pivot bolt had to sheer-off on both ends, chain tensioners drop with the bolt ends, and then bolt shaft just falls out...? How would the bolt simply come out, with the brake on one side, and the rear sprocket on the other? (yes, bolt is accessed through the sprocket holes... but just fall out?)
  19. While riding out at the RAC, I bottomed-out on a rock,on one of the wide coal roads. Nothing alarming. Ran fine back to trailer, that's when I noticed my skidplate gone, and chain pretty slack. My lower pivot cross-bolt, dg skidplate, and adjuster locknuts (locknuts to tension chain) are all missing.... gone. wtf. I must've hit unobtanium with my skidplate. Did I shear-off frame? Can this be fixed, and where do I get the parts? (pics incoming)
  20. You gotta go slow with me folks. Any diagrams out there on how to do this? @ hercalmighty - got a link to where I can buy the item?
  21. Anyone got a link to a guide on installing the tether?
  22. I've suspected for a while now that I have a bad ignition (meaning the thingy the key goes into). The other day, I had just started riding when, while going up a hill mid-throttle, my engine just cut-off and I came to a stop. Tried to kick it several times, and could tell I wasn't getting any spark. I turned ignition key off, and back on... kicked it once and she fired right up. No more problem for the next 2 hours of riding. Sometimes I can't start the banshee on the first few kicks, so I'll turn ignition off/on and she'll start right up. What should I check/replace to fix this issue?
  23. Anyone? Wanna get rid of these.
  24. All four Front tires Rear tires
  25. I'll try and take tread pics today.
