  1. No, but my filter was kinda dirty.
  2. Did some research and plugs look good. Old and slightly on the rich side, but pretty good for 2 years. Opinions?
  3. Don't know how to read plugs, and was hoping ya'll experts can tell me something about how my engine is running based on the plugs I just pulled. Had these plugs in for 2 seasons, but barely rode at all this last year. Always Amsoil Dominator in either 93 octane pump gas, or VP 110 Leaded in the summers. New plugs arriving in the mail. Also, does my Plug Harness look like a chinese knockoff?
  4. After I park my banshee, if I leave the petcock open by next morning there's a pool of gas on the floor, from the carb outflow. IF I shut the petcock off immediately after riding, the next morning my banshee will take 20-30 kicks to start. If I leave it open (gas flowing through and out) I can kick it 1st time and she starts... No leaks around petcock. Just watched South Texas Banshee's "stuff to look for" videos and he mentions you should be able to leave petcock open, and no gas on floor. Timestamped link:
  5. Sweet! Is the 6-pack black or silver? I'll take it either way tho dude. What!? Melt the plastics? shit... thnx for the heads-up. Ordered my Ebay radiator!!! $44 shipped... insane.
  6. $115 for Impeller, Bearing, Seal, Pancake bushing and gasket? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-Pancake-Bearing-And-Billet-Water-Pump-Rebuild-Kit/142596287133?hash=item213366aa9d:g:jf0AAOSwXrdaF3OD:rk:25:pf:0
  7. done. nuff' said. Adding Water pump, pancake bearing, and maybe shifter star.
  8. done. nuff' said.
  9. Nice list dude. I'll find videos on how to properly check this stuff. 2nd pancake bearing recommendation. 100% needed huh? Okay. Kicker rebuild is already done. I'm also replacing all brake pads and brake fluid, removing parking brake and replace with billet piece, oem headlight fixes and vinyl covers, exhaust clamps/polish and possibly redo the packing material, right rear tire leak, new engineice, new redline 75w gear oil for clutch, new billet levers and perch, grease cables, new spark plugs, straightened plastics, polishing the rear axle, cleaning the PRO filter... My wishlist if funds show-up: - suspension - radiator - led lights - 6 pack rack
  10. Isn't this only needed if you're an asshole and don't maintain your banshee properly... aka no oil / shitty oil?
  11. Thanks for putting this seed into my head. And thanks to South Texas Banshee. Your vids are the shit brother. Realized I didnt check the basket play correctly last time... and sure enough my cushions are shot... Guess I'm doing cushions and billet water impeller while Im at it. Thought the shee would live again by this weekend. Guess not.
  12. Need the following random parts. - Full Suspension for 175-200 lb. rider - Modified shift star - Billet water pump assembly, gasket - Clutch perch, aftermarket - Case protector, billet - Chain guide, billet - Chain, aftermarket - Aluminum radiator - Exhaust clamps, aluminum
  13. What else should I replace while I have the clutch case open? - Shifter Star - Shifter star detent - Water impeller ?
  14. So, hang'em up on the wall then? Is there a BansheeHQ wall of shame somewhere?
  15. Thanks man, my disks weren't seating right and I was hoping they were useless.
  16. Yeah? More trouble then they worth? I won't install them, but just curious as-to the history of these little buggers... and how the fugg did I have 2 in there?
  17. Questions... Do I need this rubber seat "RING, CUSHION," and why do I seem to have 2 of them (bikebandit shcematic shows 1 needed). One was behind the clutch disks, and another on top of them just behind the adjuster plate... I've watched several youtubers assemble/dissassemble a banshee clutch, and I never see this seal included.
  18. Serious? Yeah man Im in NJ. You made my shee rip last time I was in LI. PM out
  19. Check rodger.
  20. Nope. Once I drilled a hole in the screw and tapped the extractor in, 1 turn with wrench to break it loose and then hand turned all the way out. Besides, even if my torque wrnech is way off calibration I still know what too much pressure feels like. There's no way I applied enough pressure to bust a perfect screw.
  21. Came out clean. Threads are minty fresh.
  22. Good shit! Thank you both! Got my backup plan.
  23. Will try that first, then extractors as phase 2.
  24. Pressure plate comes right off, but that stem is from either the clutch basket or engine case (?)
