  1. who are you trying to kid! i bet it runs great with oil in the coolant, and no premix!
  2. Update on this, the product dried onto it and was almost like polyurethane for wood. anyways it was a sand MAGNET! my bike has never been so sandy after a trip, took a hose to it, sprayed off all the sand and dried it with microfiber and still looks really good. ide use it again
  3. its all good! anything i can learn is good! headin out to the dunes see ya later!
  4. its "detail doctor" as seen on tv product. apply ant let dry 2-4 hrs. works amazingly well!
  5. working on my 98 when i was recommended by a friend a product to make my plastics look "like new" thought i would give it a shot, and a half hour later, oh man! works great! recommend anybody to try this!
  6. i was thinking about those, love the sound of them, also i really like the sound of dmc 916. did fmf send you a jet kit with your pipes? i know my past pipes have thats why i ask!
  7. what about discoloration? they all seem to have about about 6" of blue from heat from where the exhaust port would be? i chose a black aftermarket pipe on my 400l so i really couldn't see any discoloration when i had them
  8. looking to put pipes on my banshee now that i got it running decent, on a local classifieds website there are some decent deals on a set of t5's, fmf, and cpi pipes. what should i watch out for if anything when buying used pipes?
  9. hell ya man! im going to be going out next weekend to try them out!
  10. this just happened to me, just bought a 98 with no airbox and k/n ran like how your explaining it. adjusted needle down 1 clip (richer) went to 240 main, pilot stayed the same, might try fiddling with the pilot but it runs night and day better
  11. got my new Max flow impeller and my aluminum water pump drive gear, fit like a glove, fixed my issue! Great customer service and very high quality stuff. you have a customer for life! thanks again!
  12. that wouldn't bother me any!
  13. so, i just got my first banshee, the guy threw in some paddle 10 paddle haulers these things are like new and still have nubs on the paddles they are 22x11x10, anyways my bike is for the most part stock would they be too much or would i be able to use them for cruising through the dunes and playing around at sand mountain? thanks everyone! (UT)
  14. just checked the sprockets front is 14t rear is 40t smaller one tooth person i got it from told me the sprockets (and chain) were new, sprockets seem to be new
  15. i think i might try the Modquad Chain Slider/Guide Set and see what happens, if not then ill use my shortened chain, the ones on there are worn down to metal, so there's basically nothing left. the other ones are just as good (bad) as this one
  16. i forgot to mention, there is no air box at all, just filters to the carb
  17. Hello! First post, first time banshee owner just traded for my scrambler thursday i have a few questions 1. took it out for a ride, runs good (i think) at low end / mid. but going up a hill (dunes or sand mountain) pushing the throttle in anything from 3/4 to WOT it bogs and fall flat on its face and i have to turn around only thing other than stock is unifilters main jet is 200 (stock) and needle is 1 from the bottom. i know i need to go up on my main but how much? ride mostly at around 11,000 (little sahara, UT) 2. the chain was extremely loose, attempted to tighten but adjusters went out all the way and it was still very loose, took out a link and it was extremely tight. i bought a new quality chain and its better but still on the loose side. my upper and lower chain rollers are trashed, the upper is nearly gone, lower's bearings are grinding and worn as well. if i replaced everything with something like the: Modquad chain slider/guide set or something similar, would that tighten up the chain significantly? pictures are not working for some reason
