  1. I got a little light today for free and mounted it where I thought looked good and the only question I have is can my stock stator handle this extra little light? I'm not sure on the wattage but it shouldn't be to much sense the light is so small, if not I could always go with leds. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. that's very true haha I guess I was just getting ahead of my self, I think the first step will just be getting the porting done then.
  3. Going black with the cylinders and red with the head, but will that be all right or will the paint trap the heat in and make the motor run hoter? And I'm gonna get the motor ported and polished, with v force 4's then some dmc 916's and I've all ready got k&n pods and +4 timing so I think that should definitely be substantial on power any input?

  5. Minuscule but I moved the light switch/ kill switch to right be hind where my left leg is and I got the kick start seal put on probably Friday i will finish up the rest of the clutch area Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Also when eliminating the key you follow the key switch down till it becomes two wires then connect the two right?

  9. I got the clutches soaking to so when that seal gets here I can through the clutch cover on Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. got the bar riser and hand guards put on and they look good and the bar riser feels a lot more comfortable then stock. Also got the new water pump installed but still waiting on that damn kick starter seal! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. I'm waiting on parts still, hand guards and riser were supposed to be here by Friday lol hopefully they'll be here Monday some time.
  14. Before you ride it make sure to check ur blinker fluid cuz one time I didn't and i got a bent push rod on my banshee
  15. Cool that never even came to mind thanks for that though, I know in 97' they changed something to do with the tors or something like that so ill keep that in mind
  16. I'm about 5ft 7in and I'll definitely be checking out used oem cdi's then.
  17. are you saying oem is the way to go? because $570 just seems like a lot to shell out for that, I'm not trying to cheep out but gosh
  18. Also any imput on after market bars? I ordered my bar riser but I'm not sure if that extra inch is going to make that big of a difference.
  19. I went to the local Power sports dealer ship to price check some Cdi boxes and a oem is over $550! They said I could get an aftermarket one for $170 out the door. Crazy that little plastic box can be so much money, I think that the aftermarket one is the way to go.
  20. Another thing is people automatically think if it's rattle canned it's crappy witch it damn sure isn't as quality as let's say powder coat but if you take the right steps it'll turn out pretty decent.
  21. https://imageshack.com/i/p8youPD2jSo I got the clutch case all painted and it looks damn good, waiting on the kick start seal to get here Monday so I can soak my clutches and finish up the bottom end also got hand guards, bar riser and new water pump parts coming Monday too. Waiting for the parts is the hardest thing
  22. I completely agree with that, what's taken the longest up until now has been prep work like cleaning and what not
