No problem pal, i understand that if you know the cnc buisness, using a dmu 50 (about 200kCan.$) or a 1250 Tc (650kCan.$) to make those kind of part is silly! ;-) Even Catia V5, non educational price, is about 60K for each station... We had a crash with the new 1250TC, a little one, the tool didnt even broke....45000$ for a new head... BTW, i never sell anything i made, 'cause i know how it realy cost ;-)

You're thinking too hard :-) Ok, a little bit more about me. I have a dec, bacc and msc in mechanical engineering and i'm teaching it in a college in Quebec. I did the little puller on our new lynx semi auto lathe. We have it for about a year but i didn't tried it yet. My scpeciality is cao/fao with catia v5. The pics of the engine case i did was made as a project in my cnc course. So, to make a long story short, i'm using the college equipment to make my stuff then i gave those parts as exercices to my student 'cause they like it when it's real life project. And you were right, even the little puller took me about 2 hours to make but i like making my stuff. Sorry for my english, french is my first language.

Yeah, you're right. I will check if i had some 7075t6 by hand, if not, will do it in 1045.

Ok, first kind of an udpdate! lol! I disassembled the cover, foot peg etc, to discover (dumb me to not thaught about that) that i needed a puller! So, i will make a puller tomorrow. 27x1, left handed. Will put some pics, i think i will make it in aluminium.

I have a little question. Stock vs sport porting+Vforce4+T5 = about +10 to 15hp?

New, billet one from 6061T6. I will put pics of the entire process. Hello, i'm a new Banshee owner, 2006, T5, sport porting, head shaved a little bit, 137psi compression, VForce 4., still on stock bore, no frame/electrical/suspension mod at all. The fist thing i will do is rebuilt the bottom (tranny bearings, seals and check the crank), but it's cold here in Quebec and i will wait a couple of month before doing so. Since i need to do something on it right now i decided to start my mods by doing a new timing plate. I dont know if this post is in the right forum, but for people who like CAO/CNC machinning, that should interest you ;-) This is what i use to measure the plate : I'm using Catia V5 for CAO and a DMG 5 axixs mill (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpydPwF3Kww) First step: unmount and measure it!! So, i will keep you in touch with the process and post some pic soon.

Still on his original bore, with new pistons, 137psi compression. I didnt check the squish so far to see how Munch shaving it got. Will do the leak test!! I want to open it up anyway ;-) I dont think it will hurt to change the bearings and i will be sure that the bottom is ok. Will put some pics of the porting job, it was made by a well known guys here. It's my first Banshee, i realy love 2 strokes, i played a lot with snowmobile 2 strokes engine. I bought the Banshee 'cause i want to mod it, play with setup etc and making new pièces (covers, hubs, impeller, shift star etc.) I have the chance to have access to CNC mill (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpydPwF3Kww) and mill-turn (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yArWbp-H2o) so i want to make most of my own parts. Hello, i've just bought this banshee, 2006, sport ported, planed head, T5 with yellow power coated frame. No mod on the frame or suspenssion. The base/tranny is original, so i think i will start by that. i want to put new bearings/seal/gaskett, there is rebuilt kit for that or i have to purshase items separetly??
