  1. Job done! Took the yellow wire (who became red/yellow) from the magneto.
  2. I've just read that the unit is 9v to 400v ac/dc... So i will stop to be afraid to burn something, plug it and go from there! ;-)
  3. No, it's kind of a capacitor that take about 10 min to be fully charged and that give the unit about 10 min of autonomy when the engine is not running.
  4. Hello, just got my digatron ( 2 egt, water temp, rpm) I said i' ve got a banshee so i got the 'lighting wire' connection. There is the part where i'm confuse. They say to tap it on the lightning wire BEFORE the regulator. So when i check to the electrical drawing, the regulator look the be wired in parallel not in serie, so i do.t get where is the before or after regulator.... Here is a pic with dots, where do i connect?
  5. Great idea!! I've just bought a Digatron 52S!! I think that will be my next project! I'm not worried that munch about streght, i will make some finite element on the model to check everything.
  6. The marks will be on the next one. I have to check a couple of things before (alignment wise)
  7. Job done! Thx for those who followed this thread, i'm not sure what my next banshee project will be.
  8. Fist phase done. The 1/4 tool was not cutting right, so it left some material. No worry, it's the peototype! Everything will be corrected on the second one
  9. So, here is a little vid, of the last step before cutting real material. The software is VeryCut, it emulate the cnc and check the G code. https://youtu.be/azroZiUc1Ac
  10. Mine will be -1 to +5. I didnt put the mark for the degree yet 'cause i have to check a couple of things. So i will make the first one without marks and fine tune from there.
  11. Fixed cmm like the one we use are not usualy used to do cloud of points. We use it to measure fixwd feature like circle, or their position, lines etc. It's not like i want to copy a parts with complex surface, if so, i will use a lazer type 3d reverse prototyping scanner. But they are not at the same level, precision wize
  12. Usually, a fixed cmm like this one is more precise than an 'arm 'type cmm. I'm talking about 1/100 000th of an inch here.
  13. Yeah, a cmm is very usefull tp take holes positions and bolt circle pattern
  14. I will make 1 thread for each project. With pics and everything . The plate is out! Will do some measurements tomorrow and probably start to make de 3d model on Catia v5!
  15. Yup, those things are on my 'to do list'With graved name, maybe anodized.
  16. Sorry guys, it's freezing here (-20-30C), so i'm waiting for better forecast to remove the plate...
