How many message board members does it take to change a lightbulb?? 1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed 14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently 7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs 1 to move it to the Lighting section 2 to argue then move it to the Electricals section 7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about changing light bulbs 5 to flame the spell checkers 3 to correct spelling/grammar flames 6 to argue over whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb" ... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid 2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp" 15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct 19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a lightbulb forum 11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum 36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best for this technique and what brands are faulty 7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different light bulbs 4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's 3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes light bulbs relevant to this group 13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too" 5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy 4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?" 13 to say "do a Google search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs" 1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again
  5. start off at +3 and go from there... i have found +3 to work without any problems... sumtimes +4 can kill alittle of ur topend... u should feel the difference from bottom - top... just start off with +3 and go from there... L8r d34
  6. he already has the gytr cdi... i would try addin +3 degrees 2 it and see what happends... if u can tell a difference at WOT, like its not revvin as far then u can back it off 2 find where u like it... it mite pull fine with +3 and u mite wanna try +4... just try it out and see what works best with ur setup...   7. i did not have anything 2 do with it... he said it didnt change the curve, it just makes the ignition digital instead of analog... so from the info he gave me u can add the timin plate... i know of ppl on here runnin a timin plate with the dyna also... i would not recommend that because the "stock" curve on the dyna is stock sumwhat... it ramps from stock at 3k rpm to +4 degrees at 10k rpm... and it u change the curve selection u add even more timin on top... all the other curves show around 7 degrees at 10k rpm... when i added more timin to mine i lost the overrev that u have after the pipe falls off... currently i run the dyna with a custom curve that i put n it... it is +5 thru +6.5 on the bottom and +3.5 on the top... u can add a plate 2 urs and just play with it 2 get it where it runs best... what type of ridin do u do?   8. with the gytr u can add a timin plate... a race buddy of mine had his on the dyno at the yamaha stealership that he worked at... it did not add hp just smoothed the curve out alittle... L8r d34
  9. i run one... its very simple how it works... it allows the adjuster 2 spin inside the clutch pressure plate... the original has a hex end on it and is spun by the pressure plate... would i buy one again, probably not unless i was having problems with the ball weldin 2 the shaft... L8r d34

  16. dont go with the gytr it is just a small improvement over stock... u should go with the dyna... its a gr8 ignition system... dont use an advance plate with it tho... the "stock" curve is still +4 @ 10k rpm... hope this helps... L8r d34
  17. that is not that ATVA national... it is an event that is put on by the same ppl as the monster truck shows... there is an ATVA national schedule out but i dont have a link 2 it right now... i think its on here sumwhere... L8r d34
  18. do what meat said or get sum from vforce... i would not put stock gaskets n because u mite not get a good seal when the petals r close... L8r d34
  19. pivot works kits are the only way 2 go 4 axle bearings and seals.... p/n pwrwk-y09-000... hope this helps... L8r d34

  22. i cant say that mine has more hp than b4 but it does help alot... i can get these to u 4 about $275 and the program is about $175.... L8r d34
