Hi guys !!! I'm slowly starting to build my 2nd banshee and I need some advice. About 2 months ago I bought a 2004 banshee frame of off Craigslist for 300$ with tittle from Cascade. It's got raspberry color powder coat that is in great condition so I would like to leave the frame as is ... Now the rest of the parts are coming from a project I bought earlier this year . I have disassembled everything and want to get everything powder coated ... The guy will clean and sand blast everything and mask before powder coating it ... I have 2 colors I kind of want to use . So I'm thinking swing arm Alba a-arms front bumper Pegs Break lever Gear shifter Hubs in this color because I was told it's tough and cleans easy and it can take a beating And the rest of parts like Rear brake cylinder engine cases jugs and bumper in this color I'm wondering if it all would look good ? And if you have any advice/input I'm listening And last , if you guys have pictures with these colors feel free to share . Thanks [emoji90][emoji882]

Wondering if it's ok to do a leak down test right after I put cases together with fresh rtv And torqued to spec ... The reason I'm asking cuz last night I resealed my cases and did the leak down 24hrs after the rtv was applied so it could cure , and today I did a leak down test and it failed .. On crank left side seal was installed backwards so have to redo the whole thing .. And is there any tricks to have 100% seal around the rubber seals ? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You were right I noticed a leak from the head where it goes into the hose not sure if it's the oring or not tightened enough ... But wondering why would it leak from the stud at the bottom of the case (1 of the center ones) ? Since these studs are not going through the top case .... I know that tranny oil is inside the cases and the only place I could think of that would have coolant if the pump . But I have never split a case before so wondering what to look for .. Btw left side is smoking from the pipe and that's the same side that's leaking from the center stud ... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes the carbs are in sync . I even swapped them with right carb and still left was smoking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But I did the leak down and passed it Then took the bike for a spin and noticed that left pipe is smoking and gets hoter then the right pipe. And it really bugged me so I stopped riding it The next day I come to garage and noticed I have 3-5 drops of coolant on the ground. I'm using all new gaskets and Orings on coolhead. Not sure where're it's coming from so I assumed it was from cases I have 150 psi from both cylinders Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Found a coolant leak between cases. so wondering if I split the cases and apply new rtv will the surface area has to be 100% oil free before applying it ? And after I put the rtv how long do u have to wait before you put the cases together ? And how soon can I ride it after this rebuilt ? Thanks for help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
