  1. So today i went out to start my shee it fired up but idled high.shut it down and waited a bit,went back and it fired up and idled fine then died.i tried kicking it over again and it just smoked out of one exhaust pipe and wouldn't start.can somebody help me with this?!
  2. Yeah ill check around for a set of works,if im buying used id like to find something close so shipping doesn't fuck me up the ass. As for a arms and swingarm what would be a good choice for a fair price?
  3. Ok my last post in the xc/harescramble forum was based mostly on suspension so i was told it was better if i posted it here. I found these on amazon for pretty cheap,they look to be way better than stock so id like some input on whether i should make the purchase or not Picture of them Also upgrades once i have more money will be new a arms,+2 or +4 swing arm,+2/+4 axle,cpi poor man pipes,timing plate,2 uni air filters to replace airbox,and new tires all around. What brand swing arm/a arm should i go with,what tires,and good axle? Sorry about posting so much,im new.

Need some help on what to do here,i changed my clutch cable because the other one was getting bad.i have about an 1/8" of free play at the lever,the clutch disengages a little but not as much as it should.when shifting into 1st the bike lurches forward but doesn't stall. Guy i got it from replaced the old clutch about a month ago,trans oil definitely needs a change.would new oil help or will i have to adjust the clutch at the pressure plate?
  7. Seriously,i didnt make this for people to bitch and moan. Deadbeat has been pretty good with giving me advice since my first post on here,not trying to escalate anything but if you want to argue please do it elsewhere.
  8. Yeah went through all that when i first got it,was more focused on bearings at the time but didnt find any play at all
  9. Yeah when i was checking the wheel bearings i felt no side to side play or any play really,i do have a spare set incase so im not to worried.i think my very first investment will be a good set of tire,then timing plate,then a arms and shocks,and ill do pipes last.

Yeah my lower left a arm has a dent,the others are fine but just have a shitty paint job,im supposed to pick up the second frame with a arms and swing arm from the guy i traded with.if the a arms are in better shape ill swap them on for now until i find a used set,would Yfz 450 a arms be good if i can find a set for cheap?

I have roughly 400-500 to play with over a couple months until next year rolls around and i can generate income, if the price is right ill buy used for suspension but as for motor work id rather wait and buy everything new,timing plate,jetting,intake and upgrades along those lines are typically a bit cheaper so i can start off with that. Also whats a good tire for all around use that hooks good?

Well im still im high-school,my last year so ill have a job at the mines by next summer,ill get pipes and front shocks then along with 4 new tires.ive ordered a tors eliminator kit and will invest in an adjustable timing plate soon.what can i do to get a slight bit more low end power for tight stuff without the top end suffering?
  15. Picked up a banshee recently,i do basically nothing but trail riding.the main trails around me have been redone for vehicles to use them so they are decently wide,open,and smooth. Then there's also plenty of side trails,some are tight,some are rough and some are smooth but twisty. My banshee is bone stock other than the booste bottle that is on it.i was wondering how i can setup my suspension(hopefully without upgrading),what mods i can do to make it quicker in the trails without breaking the bank and overall just a good setup for a simple quick and agile trail machine.
  16. Pressure was way to high in all 4 tires so i deflated them and did 6 in the rear and 8 up front

  18. Thanks ill pull it apart tomorrow and see,as for lights ill try different bulbs and make sure there aren't any damaged wires
  19. When my shee is running i have to kill it with the key,kill switch is hooked up but doesn't work.my lights dont work either bulbs seem fine,i think it may be related to the problem with the kill switch. Any ideas on how to fix this?
  20. Looking for any aftermarket pipes,dont have to have silencers.let me know what you got,price and location.
  21. Fenders are cut,ill have a picture of the brackets with fenders attached as soon as I get the bend right
  22. Yeah i have the brackets made to mount the fenders on after i cut them,might have to make minor adjustments but seems like it will work
  23. I have a design drawn up to make detachable fenders,ill try it and see how it works. Might be a great idea for people who don't want to full commit to race cut but don't want to pay almost $100 for a pre cut fender
