  1. Nevermind i didn't think a read it hooked in circuit. I unhooked it and it read 119 ohms
  2. So pickup coil says 94-140 ohms. Mine is at 91... that's not far off but could it pose a problem?
  3. Will try when i get home. Tell me about this stator ohming. I know about ohms and all as I went to school for electronics and mechanics. .. but what exactly am I checking and hoping for?
  4. I've made sure tors is all disconnected/removed. Rejetted and cleaned carbs. Even after jejet still runs exactly as it did before. Hard start and wont Rev past 1/4 throttle. . It just bogs. Checked air filters and cleaned. Tried with them on and off.
  5. If the tors is activated wont it keep it from running at all or just above idle? How does it work? Does it limit something in the cdi like ignition?
  6. The wires to the throttle and parking break are cut. The tors "brain" is completely gone. The slides aren't in backwards. . I double and triple checked all this. What other problems can i look at? Reeds? Leak down?

  8. Air screws are 1 1/2 turns out. All tors stuff is removed.
  9. Ok rejetted to a 30 pilot and tried 300and 320 mains. Still nothing but bog after 1/4 tthrottle. .. help please!!
  10. Yea I've heard the Athena bb kit sucks but hey it was on there. I got this banshee for 350$... it has rims on it that cost that much. Not to mention the new fmf gnarlys and power core 2s..
  11. Thanks you guys are awesome. While I'm getting some answers any info on timing changes and do they help? And also what's average cost of port and polish work and is it worth it?

  13. Also already has brand new plugs already. Is there any timing adjustment on these?
  14. I'm about 420ft asl. It does idle but come to think of it the idle is kind of poor. And its hard as crap to start
  15. Hi guys I'm Kent. I jist signed up. I jist bought a 98 Banshee with a 392 big bore kit and fmf gnarly pipes. It has twin k&n filters with no air box and cool heads. And carbon fiber reeds. They guy claimed it had a problem he couldn't figure out... I have had several blasters but a banshee has been my dream for a long time, so when he offered it this cheap I snatched it up. He thought it probably needed jet work. I am unsure. It runs good at idle but after like 1/8 throttle bogs out and wont Rev any higher. It has 260 jets which from what I can tell is way off. I think pilots are stock. What is yalls opinion? ?
