  1. Hi guys. New to the forum and I just have one question. Is this normal behavior from the members? I mean some of these comments are just plain childish.. Anyways awesome build Sheedawg..

Haha thanks man..yea he has nothing better to do all day than be on his website and butt in on things he has no clue about instead if riding once a year of that. He keeps asking me the same question how my MX career is going but I can't think of any questions for him since he doesn't ride and is just a keyboard warrior. This is just one of them from this year so I'm doing ok...now he'll say I either bought it or raced beginners class hahaha never ending even when you prove him wrong and make him look dumb like I have been, cheers and have fun on here :-)

  2. Haha. So, how's MX going for you?

Are you still the best at the backyard track?

A lot better than your mx career did hahaha, obvious by my pictures.

Almost since I ride all the popular tracks around me pala raceway (where they host one race in the AMA nationals) along with Glen Helen or racetown. Haha continue to make yourself look dumb, I love it.

  3. So, you're dumb enough to believe that people are running carbon fiber brake stays and titanium rotors on stock Banshees?

Haha, GTFO with that silly ass shit.

If you were smart (you're not), you wouldn't be asking any of the questions you are.

And still, Cuervo was the first to offer the kit and it was built specifically for the 40mm drag axles.

I have one in my shop, so I already know more than you do..

Just order the kit. Bolt it up and go ride! (from Race Tech, because the Cuervo setup is for a 40mm axle)

Plenty of guys in here with plenty of mods and stock swingarms hahaha..retard! Oh really? What questions have I asked..I don't recall asking any but the one I asked you to see what was stupid on here....retard! Ok cool useless info and wrong manufacture that we were talking about, again useless info....retard! From what I and everybody else sees stumbling upon this thread is how much you actually don't know and your followers think that you do...taha!

Hah I'm not mad I just like calling you out and making you look dumb..coming from the guy that gave up on mx after wrecking so now you just know how to go in somewhat of a straight line bahaha..winning. Now get out of my build thread everything was going well till you came back in here with your useless info. :-) ;-)

  4. So much stupid fucking information in here.

Cuervo was the first to sell the Brembo with a brake stay for a Banshee.

That said, the setup is for a 40mm carrier and drag axle.

The spacer that comes with it is to space the brake hub correctly for the Brembo.

Call or e-mail them and order one.

    (951) 743-6328

So please clarify what info on here is stupid..probabaly won't respond as I'll probably prove you wrong like I have with everything else. We weren't talking about the Cuervo racing unit either retard, which doesn't state that it has to be used on a 40mm carrier or drag axle....talk about a dumbass post all together ha

  5. Also as far as the brake stay goes you could just have JDS Customs bust one of those out for you it should be an easy one for him. You can get the dimensions of the brake caliper holes some even say it in the description the mm's between the holes.

  6. Cool, def like the bling factor. Let me know when you make the upgrade as I would like to see who makes the brake stay. I'm still trying to figure out what sprocket carrier to use on the RPM axle

For sure, just be weary if you take the leap before me there's a lot of fake calipers out there so ask where they source their caliper from with whichever company you go with some brembo calipers will also have the part numbers stamped on them which you can look them up and it'll tell you all the details of when it was built..if it's not in their database then they never made it therefore it's a fake. You might want to stick with the stock carrier for both the sprocket and brake according HP2000, since they're aluminum and the axles are steel they start developing play since those two metals don't agree with each other which makes sense. Along with the rear hubs, hence why I haven't got rid of the ugly stock ones.
  7. Just curious ... why? And what's the best setup

Since he didn't answer your other question...you shouldn't use it because of the carbon fiber brake stay they include. You swap that out and you'd be solid..might even be able to buy that kit without it and just buy one from a different manufacture. A brembo caliper would give you better modulation but you'd have to be pretty precise with it which nobody could ever be to realize a difference so the stock is ideal, the brembo would bring a bling factor in there which is one of my possible future mods because of that ha.

  8. This is more of a general question, but is there a real benefit of using Titanium bolts (suspension, chassis, etc) vs Stainless?

Obviously weight, but how much weight do you really save by doing a complete kit and burning $1600?!?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It starts adding up real quick I saved roughly 16.3 pounds on my last R1 build some bolts are so light compared to the steel bolts that they feel like they're made out of plastic. The bigger the bolt the more weight you save essentially. The biggest weight savings I had out of replacing all the bolts and nuts I did was the axle bolt which would be like the long swingarm bolt that we have that connects it to our frame on the shee's. I did it partially for the weight savings but mostly for the bling factor some also have to be drilled to safety wire for the track which is easier to just order them that way and save some weight by it being titanium. Also Titanium 6AL-4V (grade 5) bolts are highly corrosion resistant and claim 40% weight reduction. Race tech are the ones that sell kits but pro bolt usa can make you any bolt you have into titanium provided you give them the right info..I have their rules to measure length and pitch so it's easy to get them the specs.

  9. No bs is tusk a bad axle? I dont do the type of riding that you do

Yea I wouldn't run it you might be ok with it since you say you don't do the kind of riding I do, if your not jumping and coming down on the rear wheels hard. When doing some research I came across a bit of ppl that had bent or broke that axle. I've never seen anyone runs tusk either when cursing along the pits at an mx event. This test might be biased but based on what I've seen and experienced it holds true check it out.

  10. Sounds like you need some boots my friend! I've never had that issue with any of the countless 450's I've ridden, unless I wasn't wearing boots that is haha, when it's dark out and you shut the lights off and the pipe is glowing red, you know it's toasty.

I can post a video if you want of me spinning it on my streetbikes wheel balancer. The first time I thought it was just one of those weird occasions when they do happen to bend but after the second I had enough. Tusk, durablue and now lonestar are on my shit list for axles.

  12. What kind of hubs and what are your thoughts ?

They're lonestar as far as what I think about them I couldn't tell you yet on my behalf but friends of mine have these fronts on their 450's on the track where they take a serious beating and do just as well as the stocks while looking a lot better. Don't buy their axle though, they're shit, I've bent two of them.
